Oh my god. It’s like rinse and repeat! And the villains are so lame. Everyone’s so pumped for Neegan but ten bucks says he’s out by mid-season.

You know what’s even worse? They sell little dioramas of the shows most disturbing or grotesque scenes at Toy R Us. They have the scene where Rick walks up on the bloated zombie that ate Lori and the Governor with his zombie daughter and heads.

Seriously. A good product sells itself. I was actually getting irritated seeing a bat pointed at anyone and everyone’s face for the last.... 6 months?

That’s really why I’m done with the show. Between the Benny Hill Truck dump into the lake and Daryl’s completely stupid movie to leave town for such a dumb reason when they were under such a huge threat, and to fail at the one thing he’s known for (tracking) twice and getting caught - yeah, not giving us the victim

It would have been hilarious if he killed, like, a brand-new character who only appears in this scene, and wasn’t visibly in the lineup last season. And everyone reacted with like, “Oh, no! He killed Jimmy!” “Not Jimmy!” “Poor Jimmy!”

why don’t some of the employees that won millions help chip in?

disagree... the numbers are dropping. Maybe not enough to hurt them, but I do believe many will quit since I quit mid season of last. Sure Im reading what happened out of curiosity... but the curiosity isn’t strong enough to actually get me to watch another episode.

haha I’ve already turned it off. Saw both kills. I’m good. Show isn’t moving forward as a whole. One less thing my DVR will need to record in the future.

I feel like the promotion of this season—the tease at the end of last season’s episode (after folks publicly promised it would end with the kill), then the months of promos featuring Negan with the bat—was ghoulish. Glad they didn’t kill off Maggie for a multitude of reasons, but the way they’re selling the dark

What a lame narratively lazy fucking shit development.

Chicago Police Department showing their priorities tonight. They set up barricades to prevent people from flooding Clark and Addison. But the mostly privileged and white fans of Wrigleyville tore down any barricades and ignored police orders. And they stand there and watch.

No part of that seems egotistical or just plain dumb to you?

That’s cool, Colin. So, what do you plan to do about it? Kneel during the national anthem? Thanks, that’ll save lives.

You may want to discuss blood pressure medication with your primary care physician, lest you suffer acute medical distress in situations such as these.

I think the implication of the “dead man’s switch” is that he has some information held out for effect in case he is brutally murdered by the government or org in question reflects more poorly on the governments in question rather than Julian Assange

A continued thank-you to Deadspin for being the only publication of any size and repute to be publishing regular information about a major sexual assault trial involving a former NBA MVP.

The part of the electorate that is reading a Bernie Sanders article on deadspin already knows this and likely already does vote...even in midterms. We need to find a way to engage those who are not politically active or are turned off or apathetic to politics.

God, I love the responses to this post. Don’t listen to the reactionary posts of the people trying to convince themselves that the coward vote was the right one - Sanders polled ridiculously well against Trump and would have obliterated him without the need for the self-destruction gift that will probably get Clinton

The bright side to this is that Sanders (and others of his ilk, hopefully) can and will see that they need to be far more mobilized and organized earlier on for future endeavors; Hillary was FAR better at playing the game than Bernie, and there are lessons to learn from that. My fondest wish is to have a progressive

Fellow Democrats: if you want more liberal-leaning people at the top of the ticket, you need to vote more liberal people in down the ticket. That means showing up for primaries, that means actually knowing people’s policy positions, that means writing to your representatives about issues, that means grass-roots
