It also reminded me hearing that I saw an interview with Lynch from probably ten or fifteen years back about his studio, saying an assistant sweeps it out at the end of every day, they bits, dust and cig butts.

There's no way they could have made this without just sort of shrugging and going "yup, we all got older," it's been twenty-five years, and Lynch himself is whjat now, 70?

These things happen. Do stop, I'm sure you can find some other stuff to watch. Keep an ear out though as the show draws to a close, over whether or not it was worth it, then decide to give it a shot once it's all on one or two disks.

That rather falls into the category of complaints such as "nobody really likes modern art'/they're all just pretending to like it/they think this is deep but it's not it's just dumb." Never never never watch any film made by Apichatpong Weerasethakul. Seriously, you and anyone else who thinks these scenes are too long. On the other hand, knowing that people out there can, do and enjoy watching such films might help you understand how people can do just fine by these scenes.

Did anyone else notice how Lynch, onscreen, seemed to be super happy to be in a scene with Dern? Like he just loves working with her and couldn't wait (which we know is pretty much true of him in real life)?
