This seems a good answer from cigarette - be up front and let him see what he thinks, listen to him, etc. You know, "communication." It might just be a rebound thing, or it might just be good luck. The fact you're asking the question bodes well as if it turns out you're not ready, you'll be more likely to see it

Well I guess this is at least better than a "people only pretend to like this movie".

Many years back, some PBS show (Nova perhaps) ran a long show during a pledge drive that detailed much of this, openly. People hated it and PBS as far as I know never showed it again.

Kevin Drum over at Mother Jones has written about this topic a lot. Nothing here, if his info is solid, which it appears to be, adds up to "she ran a rotten campaign" as she was ahead of Trump all the way until the Comey letter that came late in the game. Not too surprisingly, he's no fan of the book above.

This, for me. Jenna Coleman acted the hell out of her role, confusing and often poorly conceived as it was, and id so twice as much in her final season.

"Elevating the bog standard material by sheer force of charisma" can easily describe over half of any era of the show. I do know it's a better show when it's, you know, better, but to at least have that going for it keeps it watchable for me.

This man truly gets it.

I can't argue with that, but I will say that repetition is something you have to face when talking about a show that's been on the air for so long. Sort of like how Star Trek and Batman comics repeat themselves.

Get used to it. The BBC has an extensive wardrobe department (I'm assuming, based on visual evidence) consisting of miles of racks of Victorian-era outfits, plus it's one of the most mythologized eras of their history (again, assumed based upon visual evidence).

But unsalted rice cakes are crunchy! They at least have that. And "unsalted rice cake" is what I fear Chibnall's going to deliver anyways, in my darkest hours.

Bah, that darn 4th Doctor! I'm still trying t track him down and make him pay for his crimes!

My GF insisted we get one yesterday when someone said her hair reminded her of them; my GF has rainbow-colored hair. My GF decided the drink is unicorn pee, not unicorn shit.

Something something Nick Fury in an end credit sequence something something.

I was sort of enjoying it as dumb near-satire on the genre until the end when it became apparent it was taking itself seriously.

Plus those two episodes were some of the most stylish (without the vacuousness that might imply) that Doctor Who has ever seen.

"Custody battle" means between adults. I think the withholding children's names stuff comes from criminal trials against them or if they're victims?

I heard a story on NPR some months back about the city in wherever she grew up thinking they might make a bit of tourism money off her having been born and raised there and now being so famous. They spoke with at least one woman who went to school with her, so she must have at least some education, but I don't recall

I was so upset when Trump won, and he is still going to cause a bunch of shit for us to deal with, and yet all around him, it seems as if his friends are self-destructing. This should help the four years (or less) go by more easily, at least.
