I'm no lawyer, so this might be Jimmy McGill level, but I understand that court records are public records in the US, something probably put in place to keep things at least vaguely fair and to withhold the heavy hand of government or something. I think any and all records are available except in cases where an

There's a reason they were an obscure call-out.

Naught wrong with a nice quarry.

Because awful people exist, those straw men do actually exist, I've seen their comments online.

It's not like Doctor Who would ever ignore the show's established rules.

Another vote for Warrior's Gate not being all that confusing but, come to think of it, perhaps one place Moffat got his "cool scene occurs at the the expense of the script" from. It's still a goddamn masterpiece though for the show; JNT didn't like it of course.

I was watching this at my mother's place instead of mine, and had that same problem, we absolutely had to turn on the captions to hear just about anything. The funny thing is she has a better TV than I do and a sound bar to boot. I wonder if the mixing somehow works less with better tech and better with lower tech

Stop looking at Moffat's plots funny then!

Yes, I thought of that scene with Baker right off the bat as well. One of the things Moffat's done well over his run is his smaller call-backs being worked in organically (see Movellans above).

I knew exactly who the Movellans were and yet somehow managed to not explain them to my NuWho-only GF and "I never cared for Doctor Who" mother whilst watching the new episode. I must be slipping.

That story refuses to die and shall always be with us, even though it's fake news.

If I recall, he knew someone had done something to his memories and discussed it with her, not knowing it was her, really, in her last episode, in her diner/TARDIS. Kind of like sensing something's missing from the hole around it.

Pretty sure we had at least one in Denver for awhile.

Even the original show had clunkers, lots of them.

The Avocado probably beat them to it.

I think having police drag the guy off the plane and bloody his lip was the most obnoxious part of the video, not the woman or anyone else reacting to it.

It's happened to me.

The AV Club

AsI understand it, he did the voice after John K was kicked off. But it would have been better to make mention of that somehow.

I'll disagree as those last two seasons were the dying end of one era for the show (restricted budget and not so great scripts) and the dawning of another (better budget but mostly awful casting and script choices). Baker himself probably helped carry the show through the previous as his charisma was a rare special
