Public policy polling is notoriously shoddy because (a) the public doesn’t understand the policies they’re offering opinions on and (b) the polls generally don’t offer a spectrum of options demonstrating a level of support of opposition (i.e., strongly agree vs. strongly oppose vs. three options in between).

It’s only a weakness in that you and others are “but her emails”-ing it and it's becoming a self fulfilling prophecy. 

Her gaffe on her genetic history has fuck-all to do with her plans. Take your red herring back to the stream that produced it—and perhaps jump in after it.
