Look, I don't know what kind of comments you're expecting on this, but it's the end of 2018 and schadenfreude is all I have left.

I purchased the DVDs of the Charlie Brown holiday specials a couple years ago, when I realized that the broadcasts of them were TRIMMING OUT parts of the show TO FIT IN MORE COMMERCIALS. 

Does Aladdin look... weirdly old? I always thought of him as early 20s, tops, and the Aladdin above looks like he’s fresh out of his second marriage and ready to mingle. :\

He probably started in the middle of the previous pay period. “We’ll just hold this for safe keeping until the next pay period. Not like you were unemployed for months or need to eat, right?” You might say I’m still bitter two years later.

Y’all, keep in mind that the check was $1,000 for THREE WEEKS of pay. A nigga can’t even make over $300 a week without raising suspicion. 

Like many, I remember the trash circus around this story. The media was going wild and was obsessing over the minutest details of her life. There was a lot of gleeful coverage over how she couldn’t afford all of her children and how!dare!she! use welfare to feed her children when she’d made the choice to have so many.

That was a very ugly dress and hat. And it made Sarah Jessica Parker 15 years older than she was at the time. I hate bodices that purposely don’t fit. I know it is supposed to be sculptural, but to me it just made it look like she had become grievously ill between her last fitting and the wedding.

Lost by carrier should at least result in you getting a refund or new package from the shipper.  I don’t care if the driver steals anything as long as it has the status code that it was outside my control.

When I was on maternity leave, I was reading “Where the Heart Is.” My husband decided the book was making me too depressed (thanks Oprah!), so he HID IT FROM ME before he went to work. What if he legitimately feels 20 years younger, like people legitimately feel they are the opposite gender or even genderless?

I’m not sure how many millenial men would openly admit to having regressive beliefs about splitting domestic work when both partners (in a hetero pairing) work full time, but I 100% have experience with millenial men who preach gender equality as much as possible but do jack shit around the house & with their children …

Because age is a unit of measure and gender identity isn’t. Sure, he might “feel” like 49, I’ll humor him on that, but that doesn’t change the fact he’s been alive for 69 years. It’s like me demanding to be legally as tall as Kobe Bryant even if my height is measurable as far from it. You can’t really measure gender…

I don’t know, just look at The Flash.  Lots of people now associate the name with Barry Allen, despite that Jay Garrick came first.  Just because many superheroes pass on their titles doesn’t mean the new kids don’t get their own identity.

You know, the one and only time I can think of seeing this played out for a man in pop culture? Original Star Trek.

I thought Lafayette, Hoyt, Jason, Gran Stackhouse, Mrs. Fortenberry and Andy Bellefleur were great in their roles, especially when you realize Andy Bellefleur is the same guy who played Frank Sobotka on The Wire.
