If it was really for budget reasons they wouldn’t have been hiring in the department for the same role at the same time they fired me.

I worked for a 100,000-plus employee company and announced I was pregnant at five months (figured that gave them less time to do something nefarious). They still laid me off. “Budget reasons,” despite the fact I was the cheapest person in the department, by a long shot.

“Nobody’s losing any money doing it, and the only people getting screamed at are just baristas, and who cares about them really, so it’s fine!”

I think he wasn’t held enough as a baby. (NOT blaming his parents for how he is, I don’t know anything about them.)
