doesn’t sound ideal for bicycles or motorbikes though, posterior lights are positioned at the edges for a reason... those slabs don’t even have reflectors.

The punto is an old model car which should have discontinued long ago but because fiat hasn’t got around making another B-segment car they kept selling it. Now they’re pushing the new Tipo (which is C-segment but low cost so similar starting price) as the successor car.
In europe it’s sold with a 1.2 turbo and a 1.8 hybrid, which are exactly as slow as the engine the US get, and not even economical tax (CO2 emissions) and fuel economy wise. This is really hard to understand. If it wasn’t for SUVs toyota would be gone from europe.
They should build huge park&rail facilities with low-cost parking on the outskirts of the urban areas and a real S-bahn network, create local public transportation networks in the centers, ban non-resident non-disabled private cars from defined areas (or charge high fees but it’s not exactly democratic), use extra…
I don’t understand how they thought this was actually a good idea. You can get a new car for the exact same price in Europe, the dacia sandero, and hardly anyone is buying it here. In the US it would have no market since used cars are convenient (lower maintenance and tax costs).
Those look like cheese wheels cut in half.
Not direct subsidies. But they get loads of free stuff from states when they build a new plant, they get bailouts from the federal gov’t, etc. So-called “state aids” to single manufacturers, which have been banned in EU for example (with exceptions for critical/strategic companies of course).
These data say more about the average buyer of said cars than their reliability.
Yeah it’s a complement, by itself it can be considered not valid. In Switzerland the DMV releases them but it puts you back 50 bucks.
Seems like the future is tractors as a service then. You don’t own it you just lease it all included.
Affluent city dwellers and entrepreneurs will be needed to rebuild a city that was once beautiful. They will create jobs and help restart the economy. The UN and the gov’t is already providing emergency relief. Despite what you might think, nobody is dying of hunger in Syria. Using private capital to fund the war is…
sorry but when you compare russia and its coast to alaska it makes all sound like BS. also conflating terrorism with cocaine sounds like fake news. The coast guard is important, but it doesn’t need ice breakers to keep illegals out.
Well at least it fills you up.
happened in switzerland too, but it was just the head
it’s not ocean in italy hurr durr
People in europe often buy cars of national brands, but many of the cars are actually assembled in different countries. It’s not about where they are made but history and brand fidelity, usually passed down through family. All-in-all the european car manufacturing is pretty integrated and distributed.
you know park&rail? you reach the outskirts and leave the car and the train station and continue the trip.
The fact that it was on amazon prime definitely played a big part. You can’t watch it without paying a monthly fee for a bunch of other stuff you don’t want. 11$ a month for a show like this is way too much.
You cannot improve them security-wise though. If a place to fit the airbag in was not included in the design you cannot add it later. Same for efficiency, cleanliness, etc.
The taxi is probably stout in a crash as well, it’s the people inside that won’t survive.
