@splatternick: It takes a while to find the good stuff but if you've beaten the first boss i recommend having a bash in 4-1. Thats where i found my best stuff. But the loot doesnt get that good til almost the end game. Check out the Demons Souls wiki for a helpful community and PvP tournaments.

If any of you gamers out there are looking for something to keep the girlfriend occupied, I cant recommend Heavy Rain enough. My girlfriend hardly ever plays games and played through Heavy Rain in one sitting! I really enjoyed watching her playthrough too.
