It gives people the wrong idea! I hate that that's what the media does! If "natural" is not aesthetically pleasing, you can stuff it. That's the way it looks! They edit too much these days. Nobody in the media ever looks real

I trim before my period, too. I shaved once or twice as a teenager, before it got thicker, but it was too much of a pain. It feels like stuffing steel wool down your panties when it grows back.

It's also too much of a pain to keep it shaved. If you naturally have a lot of hair, the skin gets irritated if you try and get rid of it all. And I would never try waxing. Ouch

As a girl, I agree. It's more hygenic, in my opinion to keep it trimmed, and more convenient, even when not sexually active
