You have the lore and story entirely inaccurate. Ifrit is not under Ardyn’s control. Ifrit simply doesn’t like humans which Ardyn openly states when you meet Ifrit. Too add in general he is the polar opposite of Shiva who directly guides/communicate with humans. Ice and fire, woman and man, etc. Another simple thing

Which character was that?

No new summons, where you see that?!. Just a new dungeon, vehicle, and bosses(which are cool).

They updated that in last month, it’s an ability that you have to unlock on the tree, and it’s only for combat, not for running around. So once the battle ends, it switches back to Noctis. Not very interesting if you’re overpowered and can one hit enemies

Fast Travel

Those things are glossed over and not really that important. They’re easily answered. Astrals are gods, that’s easy enough to follow. Can’t see how you need further explanation on those things you listed. Now the things that could be expanded was the Lunafreya and Noctis relationship could’ve used more expansion and

It’s really good. If you liked Gravity Falls or Steven universe, this falls around there with charm and story build. The title and art style can initially be deceiving on it’s maturity and range of audience.

The surprise is definitely is that it was coming from the makers of Killzone. I like Killzone 2 and up, but the story was never great, while Horizon Dawn is getting praised for it’s story

It can’t be integrated, or it can, but either way it’ll kill the immersion. I have a season pass and anyone who has played the dlc will tell you 1. It really doesn’t change the story dramatically like those who don’t have the dlc will complain about. The game really is complete without it, not saying it doesn’t add to

There’s also other jrpgs that do that, the reason FF or others diverged because there were so many games in that genre that did nothing different, that any one of them can be Final Fantasy. World of Final Fantasy works though.

Because we’re in a story mode era for fighting games and the fact that people clamored for one for SFV. So now every fighting game has one, Injustice, MK, Tekken, etc. They just half assed it, which is weird as to why a comic book artist didn’t pen it??

The demo was part of the story mode which people found bad. A vs demo against actual AI intelligence or another person would’ve been bet and was better because you got more freedom. In short, the gameplay is really great

To be fair “real concept artists and real 3D modelers” do sell their stuff online, as stated in the article, their staff did a poor job into researching the assets. This is the same research all artists have to do for their clients.

To add, your money isn’t taken until the game is shipped. Reviews are normally done before then, and with streaming, I’m sure others will have broken the street date before launch as well

Nahhh, it’s because they see all the reaction on remakes, so why drive money for newer ideas when you can give people the same old ones. They listened to all the crumpling next/current gen dollars. Although I’ll be happy to buy it as I never completely finish Resident Evil 2, and I hope they do away with the ribbon

Was into it but the draw distance is bothering me. These games just don't work out if no one you know is playing it. Like playing Destiny by yourself or GTA V when people or your friends dont go beyond the missions and do crazy stuff

I agree with you. I don't think action rpgs are the future completely but no one should be quite so stuck in the past either. As you said, every system has it's place somewhere depending on how well the game is designed. While it does suck that there aren't any big high profile console rpg games that use turn based

I can dig that and I'm glad there are various RPGS to be had that still hold on to turn based combat

I've heard of them but never really experienced them as bad as others make it, but it was a bad port. 30fps is nice, I don't mind it as it can be quite a smooth experience, but it wasn't a steady 30fps. All in all I still loved the PS3 version and din't find any problem with it

"In other words, it's an action-RPG, which will undoubtedly piss off at least a few hardcore Final Fantasy fans who miss the turn-based battles of old. "

Muhahaha yes, feed me your nostalgic tears. Dynamic action combat moving forward.
