Remember when the Jazz talked Carlos Boozer into going back on his word to a blind man and come to Utah?

The lesson here is if you get rid of George Hill, you’re going to lose your small forward who was a 2010 lottery pick.

Thanks for bringing this up. It drives me nuts that this hasn’t gotten more attention. The GOP hasn’t just resisted making any tweaks and improvements to the existing law, they’ve actively worked to sabotage it over the last 6 years.

How did Senator Marco Rubio (R -FL) sabotage the ACA (ObamaCare) before it was ever in place ? How would our healthcare be different if the ACA was allowed to work for the American people as the law was written ?

Wow, didn’t expect a “See? Charles Manson wasn’t so bad after all” take on this. This is some prime Kinja right here.

To me, this trade signifies that all the rumors about George being determined to sign with the Lakers are probably true.

So... why are media as diverse as Woj, Mannix, McMenamin, Shelburne, plus all the local guys so willing to sock puppet for Ainge? Presumably if this is all post hoc rationalization, these fine reporters would be hearing other things from non-Ainge sources and are choosing not to include them in their reporting. Why?

In fairness Indiana and especially Chicago are run by clowns. And feeling it’s important to trade your superstar out of conference is dumb gm 101.

I honestly think Ainge was waiting to sign Hayward to trade for George. From everything I’ve heard they have the capspace to sign a max guy but trading for George first would’ve killed that option. They just got unlucky and Pritchard killed it by trading George before the Celtics had the chance

Have you already forgotten the magic of Linsanity?

I think is makes them better, but not nearly good enough to be in the convo with the rockets/Spurs, let alone the dubs. I’m not exactly sure why people are overreacting to how good the thunder will be. They basically added a significantly worse version of KD, and they have a worse bench now than when KD was there.

If you trust your drafting chops, I agree. Do we trust Danny Ainge’s drafting chops?

Well, it’s a move that can set them up in multiple directions 12 months from now. If Westbrook doesn’t resign and they lose George, they start over with a ton of money and really only Steven Adams under any kind of deal. He’s got a lot of trade value, probably the most on the team outside Westbrook. (Kanter expires

In order for the deal to fit under the cap, Ainge needed to sign Target Free Agent (Primary Target - Gordon Hayward) THEN trade for George. That said, given George’s hots for LA, I was never all that thrilled with the prospect of dealing much of value (certainly NOT the Nets or Lakers picks) for 1 year of George.

Now both russ and George can leave the thunder for the lakers together at the same time hahahaha

You are aware that boxers are commonly referred to as “fighters” and a boxing match is typically referred to as a “fight,” correct? And even technical or defensive boxers are known as “technical fighters” or “defensive fighters.” And he’s 49-0. If Laura had called him one of the greatest knockout artists or sluggers,

Props to the video editor for putting McGregor working the bags in super-slo-mo so we’d actually be able to see his lightning hands. Should’ve set it to some obscure indie pop, though.

Novak Djokovic

We all really should be blaming this on Craig and that goddamn list of his.

I love when you get weird, man.
