But why turn around at all, when the plane was almost halfway into the flight? The police could just as easily taken the streaker into custody at the destination, and the rest of the passengers would have gotten there in time.

I don’t think the nakedness would bother me as much as the 3 hours of wasted flying time, not to mention waiting around for a new flight. That would be enough to make me push the guy right over.
