Yes. Essentially the EV pie is getting larger, and not unexpectedly the portion of that pie that is Tesla is getting smaller. It is entirely possible going forward that Tesla may continue to grow in absolute terms, but the exponential growth seems less likely in the future.

For those wages that’s hard to believe. I’m still sitting here reading this and trying to grasp how low those wages really are. I used to work for a non-profit and my “salary,” was in this ballpark, which is to say pathetic.

I’m presuming this is the ballpark wage for FAs in other comparable airlines, and if that indeed is the case...damn. They should strike.

You should well know by now that Musk is not bound by laws like gravity and relativity. Nor is he bound by honesty.

Totally disagree. I’d say 100% her. ;-)

Crazy how that Econ 101 works in practice. It’s the upper level stuff that’s all smoke and mirrors.

I had a 2008 Genesis (sedan). It was great...until it wasn’t. Engine block crack/failure. Hyundai North America less than no help, but that wouldn’t make a difference in OP’s case. I wouldn’t consider paying more than $10k for this, but personally would simply pass.

Thanks. It’s a touch brutal to look in the mirror and realize you’re one of those peasants, following a trend you didn’t even know was a thing.

I so want a carmaker to make a legit EV competitor to Tesla, the more competition the better. That said, I bought a Tesla. There’s simply no way this competes on any measure, performance, range, tech, and most of all price. I’m no math wiz, but that math is simple.

As a single design element the bronze of the Duracell is funny and a win. Overall it’s tough to beat the history that is Ferrari, but kudos to Red Bull for becoming iconic already at 20. Winning tends to do that.

Neat the video guys were very upfront in their experience (or lack thereof). I’m no off-roader, but my friends that are tend to very much be of the, “it’s the carpenter, not the tools,” camp. They’re all Jeep guys, but are very quick to give props and self-deprecating when they’ve conquered some technical stretch only

As someone who indeed drives like a grandma, it’s IMO more the stupendous torque and acceleration more than the GVW. It’s even fun for me, occasionally, but I can easily see people being addicted.

The only thing this ship is guilty of is being named incorrectly. It really is the IRL version of Fhloston Paradise.

Legit love our ‘21 QX60, and yes, very competitive in it’s class, although marketed poorly (but not without effort). IMO a PHEV version would/could be a home run (i.e., we’d line up to buy one), but waiting for a BEV to be realized may be longer than the company has time.

Some EV owners and Musk-bros discover that some things, in this case EV range, shrink in the cold.

Might some of this be in response to the Tesla fire sale on the 3 and Y (typically up to $5k discount)? I really like the ev9, will like it more when the NACS is standard and not requiring an adapter.

As one of these victims, I am puzzled that no one, NO ONE, with Hyundai North America did the math, comparing the cost of up front remediation vs. the loss of goodwill towards a company (Hyundai/Genesis) that has Lexus aspirations.

Super duper awkward that Jalop has a pop-up video reviewing the Bentley Bentayga as I’m reading this story.

RIP, but no joke. I saw the video, that Bentley was movin.

Hindsight 20/20, but $250k invested same time in QQQ would be worth $657k today (TBH I thought it would be worth even more, but it ain’t shabby).
