They more or less have already done it, but a very modern up to date version of the Halo Warthog is always welcomed.

In almost every way we’re already here, I’m just surprised someone hasn’t already done it as an homage.

I smiled at the thought of the guy who agreed to this shitting bricks when the FJ wouldn’t (initially) start! But once it did, it was worth it.

Austin has been so busy when I’ve travelled there I always think of it as a modern day LaGuardia. RIP to the worker and their family.

The Delorean drumbeat gets louder and louder.

The EV toddler child of a FJ cruiser. Under $20k I’d buy it as a city car, that price is low enough to tolerate a lot.

Ballzy design from Mazda. Kudos.

Heck, let’s see one running.

I’ll be honest here and say that 12 year old me didn’t watch Star Wars: A New Hope and think, “gee, what an allegory for the geopolitics of the Viet Nam war era.” No, it was more like, “WOW, real appearing spaceships and... LIGHTSABERS!” Heck I was still years away from being able to vote. So as I and the original fan

From someone who’s perseverated over which belt to get, this isn’t like buying a house people. Get both. They’re both great, and (yes, the Flipbelt is more, but much less than a fancy dinner) if you run anything close to regularly the options are nice to have.

Did AI remove the glasses?

This is an insane list, a combo of individual cars and entire brands, most of which seem entirely off the mark. To not have mention of either the ill-fated Jag XJ220, or the “?” Pontiac Aztec makes the list woefully incomplete.

Beautiful (as expected with AM). Unobtainable, but still beautiful.

I love the look of the new Land Cruiser, but maybe (given all the great comments), the more difficult question to answer might be, “which retro design DIDN’T work?”

Absolutely loved this episode, it reminded me so much of many of the best ST/TOS episodes in its heavy handed morality plays (yea!) but with SO much better acting. There’s only so much subtlety in sci fi one person can take, there are those of us in the audience that long for the old school William Shatner/Jim Kirk

There are far worse design fates than being called a Defender clone.

Pretty intense, more than I expected. Also more was the investment in CGI for Disney’s streaming products, really full on theater quality it appears. When it comes down to it, however, the series will only be as good as its story, and I have a solid bit of confidence that Filoni will deliver.

If this kicks off the Gunn era of DC Comics...heaven help them.

Thankfully the list of beautiful AND competitive race cars is more than plentiful. I smile just thinking of that list.

While everyone has their favorites, mine include the Guy Richie/Madonna/BMW series mentioned, but also the Tom Hiddleston/Shakespeare/Jaguar F-Type and the VW/Darth Vader commercials
