Thanks for the context / clarification Starlionblue — first time I’ve heard that explained and it makes a difference in how I now see the situation.

Congratulations to you and your wife! (And thank you for having the decency to pay more for everyone’s comfort when you needed to.)

I have a two year old and I am firmly in the camp of no way will I get on a plane with her. That said, when she reaches the age where she can play with an iPad I might be a little more willing. I am all for limiting screen time in kids but while traveling I am willing to let them indulge completely if it keeps them

I am Indian and love traveling! So I often travel while being brown. Right after 9-11, I was “randomly chosen” for private security screenings wherever I went. However, the last 4-5 years, that has never happened. Something must be changing.

Holy shit this new Kinja sucks.

I forgot about those “lightning rods” I think I bought out the (then new) Wal-Mart near my hometown and put them everywhere.

Out of high school, my buddy and I both had Jeep Wranglers we were building up, and this being Southern California, we of course were out in the desert doing stupid shit every chance we got. Something you could probably guess about the desert.... it’s hot as hell in the summer.

Probably my 1992 Saturn SL2 sedan with 11 DIFFERENT neons plastered inside the cabin. This is before cell phone cameras fortunately.

Spent $70 on white face gauge overlays for my...*sigh*...V6 Mustang.

That crash was RUFF! I’ll show myself out...

The driver has been impounded.

The sheriff’s office also noted that excessive deceleration and object permanence were factors in the crash, and are not ruling out the influence of inertia.

Because people see headlines that say “Driverless Uber car involved in crash” and fail to read the rest of the story. They conclude autonomous vehicles are unsafe.

you know they already handle all of the issues you brought up right?

Who are the Kanutzins?

Special lady friend?

Duh
