I Agree! I was reading the article while thinking about hybrids and lo behold your CRZ already has it! Most hybrids give you very little control of the electric motor so this is an easy step forward!

Looks good! Great job! I’ll take two.
Supercharger stations in Mexico! Not having to pay for gas to visit family would make it much cheaper than flying. Though having to drive through the border States in a $35,000 car that also looks a bit like the $70,000 Model S gives me pause.
Tesla absolutely couldn’t service a fleet 500k cars right now! But why wouldn’t they grow? If this article is to be believed when it says that the first 232,000 reservation deliveries may stretch into 2020, then isn’t there also enough time to set up more service centers to cater to the growing fleet?
Adding a manual to any rwd tesla would be interesting! Most ICEs make usable torque from 2k-5k rpm whereas a tesla ac motor makes PEAK torque from 0-5k! Although with so much usable torque I might not find my self shifting as much as I do normally on a 5 speed. Maybe a two speed transmission like they originally tried…
It looks better than the NA Miata. In yellow paint this car looks like a pickachu sired a british roadster. The design has actually aged very well for being 25 years old.
This makes me wonder. How far can Tesla get into water? Would the waterproofing give out instantly? or can the power train survive a drive through a puddle like this?
