@tedknaz: They'd better. I really like Sprint's prices, but I'm really hoping they get one of the major manufacturers to give them an Atrix competitor. I really don't want to get another 800x480 phone with a single core processor.

@tedknaz: Most high end HTC devices aren't announced during CES. Wait a few months for Mobile World Congress and CTIA. I don't recall the Evo being announced this time last year.

@bazookafox: Fuck yeah, sign me up. A keyboard on a tablet that powerful is to die for, especially considering the overall thinness. The Motorola XOOM is looking a bit light now that these tablets have been announced.

I'm surprised Angry Frogs was even mentioned, considering what a horrid rip off of Angry Birds it is. What's the point in ripping off a FREE game, anyway?

@TheLadyK: In your case, something like this does make sense. However, I believe this chair was designed for lazy people who just don't want to get out of their seats, as opposed for people like you with genuine joint or muscle problems.

@jpaugh: 'Could' generally isn't a word people like to hear when it comes to a $600 chair made of rubber bands. If you aren't engaging the lower half of your body, you aren't getting a real workout anyway.

Ick. This is the classic example of the kind of bullshit exercise equipment people are compelled to buy. I've yet to find problems with using your body as every weight and resistance band you need.

@redman042: I'm surprised you trusted a four year old with such expensive technology. I wouldn't even let a ten year old touch my phone/tablet/etc.

@jzp.unltd: Do you know whether the Black Friday price listed will apply to Best Buy's online store as well? I'm new to this whole 'Black Friday' shopping thing.

I guess it's safe to assume those two silver dots in the middle of the slider mechanism are going to be the 'analog sticks' of this device?

@Raidah: Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas are rolling over in their graves right now.

Multipass.

@Grindhouse Murders: 'Officially vaporware'? Their last blog post was yesterday, announcing the registration for their applications developer program. The founder himself has been making frequent replies to comments people have on each post.

@FrankenPC: Sounds like the other guy was a complete asshole and did that intentionally. Your friend Mark did the right thing.

@mynameisjay: Gizmodo has been reposting comics by the Oatmeal for some time now. They've even got a tag to label every post dealing with one of his comments!:

I was impressed the first time they showed it, but now I just see it as a bit annoying.

So according to the article on the New York Times, the total cost to repair the cover is somewhere in the ballpark (hah hah..) of $20,000, possibly more if anything else got damaged.

@floobie: Since when is having a generation of 'extremely proficient touchscreen typists' good? If anything, it'll just lead to problems like carpal tunnel that much sooner. All it will do is get them addicted to devices like iPhones, and they won't settle for anything less. It's an expensive addiction; if they want

@Jerm Deeks: The bad thing is because the future generation of kids would be addicted to nothing but electronic, touch screen devices. 'I don't want to draw! I don't want to write anything! I want my iPhone!'.
