Nice. I still need to get my copy. sigh That’s at least something, yeah.

Word. That is a damn good change being made there. That was a big advantage a few other companies really held over WotC for awhile.

Some good news some not so great and some just odd. The “we don’t do editions” decision just baffles me. I could see that confusing newer players pretty easily. “What, you mean B1 isn’t compatible with D&D 2008?” I also worry about munchkins going whole hog with the rules if some of the more exploitable ones aren’t

Exactly. Now’s a good time to invest in eyepatches.

The dialogue between Walter and the Dude feels so real to me. Like, I’ve probably had almost those exact same conversations with a few friends of mine.

hah That sounds great. I’ll have to check that one out.

I still can’t believe those shows are still on. I guess they’re just that cheap to produce.

Dolly alone made it all worth it.

That’s something I always dug about the Cypher character. Like, I get it. A comfortable lie is still at least comfortable. You’re not fighting a war, knee deep in recycled “food,” and you can sleep in a warm bed. It’s a good understandable reason for his turn in the movie. Reminds me of Conan’s thoughts on reality and

Maybe we’ll see a return of Who Wants to be a Superhero? in some form under Zaslav. Yay.

I believe so, yeah. sigh I used to love the Discovery Channel growing up when it was, you know, about discovering things about our world. Not watching the daily lives of storage unit owners or whatever.

Yeah, I’m not sure I buy into that theory. I’m sure it’s possible, but I’m a big fan of Hanlon’s Razor in situations like this.

I love how the show has become almost surreal at times over the years, especially after moving over to TBS. There are a few episodes that almost feel like they were inspired by David Lynch even. Also, yeah, the Santa arc has been great. I always get a kick out of Francine showing off her knowledge of ancient history

It’s kind of funny. He’s seen the movie, he can quote it, but he also missed the entire message of the thing. Or ignored it. Six of one and all that.

Wait’ll you year about the exec makeup up at the top now...

It sucks because a buddy of mine just got into Doom Patrol and Harley, and I’m willing to be at least one of those are getting the axe, probably both. sigh

heh Yeah, Lando down below reminded me of the AD! situation. With any luck, it will just go on as a Hulu exclusive at the least.

Damn. I had gotten it into my head that TBS bought AD! instead of just distributed it. That’s something at least. Good to hear about the ratings too. Thanks. Needed some good news today.

Truly, Discovery will corner the “people looking to watch something on the free TVs and kill time in a laundromat” demographic. The most valuable and biggest of demographics.

Yup. I’m really hoping these reports are off, but it feels like a lot of good stuff is going to be slashed. sigh
