Counterpoint (and no disrespect intended): Like other “holy” books, the Quran is made up (by man) and should be understood in the context of the time and culture it was written in. My mom has been running lab diagnostics for an area hospital for decades, and when I told her about Theranos and what they were attempting to do, she was pretty floored that any venture capitalist was suckered into investing with them.

I’m a PhD in immunology/molecular biology, and my LinkedIn/ResearchGate/BioSpace is blowing up with Theranos jobs of all kinds for my field. I guess they finally are trying to get some real science in there...too bad that ship is going to sink harder than the Titanic.
