That movie now is considered a classic, when it came out it made very little.

This is EXACTLY why you never stop in a predominantly black area if you hit a child or teen, drive immediately to the police station and report it. There have been multiple instances where the driver was assaulted when not even at fault (jaywalking, or child running into street) and in some cases killed.
