A rational person sees that as sarcasm but so many people legitimately believe this. There is an insanely large part of America who doesn’t believe anything in the New York Times but will blindly accept something written on Infowars.
To be fair Gilbert legitimately owns like half the real estate in Detroit. He did give a bunch of money to the campaign so it doesn’t seem unlikely that he was involved in some way, but just having it at a building he owns doesn’t mean anything.
Those are all outdoor unfortunately. I also know the one in Northbrook isn’t banked enough for the Olympics, not sure about the other two though.
The best part is how does he have any dept perception to drain shots like that with an eye patch on?

It has to do with the idea that he was concussed to the point he had no clue what was happening on the ice, yet the trainers let him stay in the game afterwards. Not really a good idea to have him go back out on the ice.
The fact he didn’t leave the game reflects much worse on the training staff than the player.

That hit was nasty, but let’s not forget Lindros had like 90 other concussions in his career. I remember watching games with him waiting for him to get hit and just die on the ice.
And then got kneed in said shoulder. That said, the announcers were crying about the hit itself, which was fine.
The clip with the guy climbing the mountain was just someone using ascenders to follow a different person who had already climbed said mountain.
