2 years into ownership of a used 2014. Knock on wood! Have had zero issues and just passing 45k on the clock.

appreicate the insight. at this point likely looking to continue leasing the wife’s car. prefer to have her and the kids in something new every 3 years. 24 months is a long way to go. i’m sure the landscape will have changed by the time we’re due.
we have an ‘18 XLE. the front passenger seat sucks. no up/down adjustment. i’m 6'2" and hate sitting shotgun. My head is basically in the headliner.
lease is up in May 2021. As of this moment the Telluride is the contender.
Will be interesting to see what the next gen Highlander looks like. We’ve got 2 years left on our lease. Telluride is high on the list right now on looks alone.
Just ran the same search. Shocking how many First Editions models are still available. Not nearly as shocking there are only 5 sportbrakes within 500 miles of Seattle.
Here’s a bunch of new ones...
It’s not bad despite the poor stats. And its not little. LOL, actually way bigger than I thought it would be.

I’d disagree with your last bullet point. My i3 comes to a complete stop very smoothly when using one pedal driving. I rarely step on the brake.
pick up a CPO for at least 50% off MSRP. I had an S60 a couple generations ago (2010 MY). It was low 20s when i bought used. OK car but gutless and it was FWD. Torque steer. also zero back seat room.
That being said, the more the resale sucks, the more expensive is the lease,
plenty of folks over at www.leasehackr.com securing ~$400 leases on S90s
looks like you can add your own polestar tune on both the T5 & T6. I think these run about $1k...at least I think that’s how much it was on the XC-90 when I had previously researched.
buy one! just make sure its loaded. you kick yourself if you don’t get all the tech. i’m still kicking myself for not holding out for one loaded and H/K stereo. i’m missing the H/K stereo.
i3 does the same if the REx is not run for a while.
i believe someone posted this very drive in the i3 Worldwide Group on Facebook. If you’re not a member you should join. Lots of good stuff on there from a very active/enthusiastic community.
we can code it to get use of the full 9 liters.
coding the US spec i3 REx from 1.9 usable gallons to the full 2.4 gallon tank in the car can result in ~100 miles of range depending on driving, hills, etc.

if you have the Amex Plat and current SPG card, there’s no need for the SPG luxury. Too many overlaps.

I belive the highest (recent) bonus ever for the old SPG card was 35,000 SPG points. This is what I received in 2017. So this is obviously not far off.
