hmm interesting. this is exactly what i was looking for. For $50 its worth a shot too. Thanks!

Wikipedia is a perfectly acceptable reference for hard-fast data. especially on subjects that arent politically or socially controversial. I'm not writing a thesis for post-doc publication. Wikipedia is accurate WAY more often with its subject matter than the MSM is with its subject matter, and yet people use the news

Velociraptors were as big as a dog. [en.wikipedia.org] not really as "Clever Girl" as Spielberg would have you believe. Also, it is thought they were scavengers as well.

it also goes without saying that patent law is really messed up. The reason that this is a frivolous law suit is the same reason that i cant patent The Book.

apparently, you havent seen they Pyramid Tablet

haha not long at all

Now playing

do you know how long i've been looking for sbaitso.exe? i spent hours and hours playing around with that program. Great call.

what bulb?

what does that even mean? are there people out there that are"PC guys"? arent most people "i use what works" guys (or girls)? or are you just trying to incite fanboyism?

i looked into them. they're true 7.1 which is cool, but for a set of headphones that will likely be around $200... i'm skeptical of the quality of the drivers. Add to that, the fact that true surround doesnt work well in headphones, the drivers are all too close to your ear to get a clear picture, the sound is muddy

absolutely, and my headset has a really killer sound. and because they're open backed they have really good sound staging, allso they're surprisingly bassy. but i think you missed the point of my post.

wait... you mean to tell me that a *SINGLE SWITCH* fails at RIM and it kills BB service... wait for it... WORLDWIDE. The fact that RIM would even spew this nonsense is troubling. The idea that it could even possibly be true is downright scary. Not having multiple physical layers of redundancy is a noob mistake.

Thanks for the specs! i'll take hard facts over my assumptions any day. where would you say they compare to a wired headset?

i've never owned a wireless setup, but i've heard good things about the Sennheiser RS 130 which you can find online for around $130. Thing is, i doubt you'll find *really good* wireless headphones at a comperable price t0 wired ones. Senn. also has the RS180 which as i understand it sounds similar to the HD598's but

stinkin right handers.

Lah-dee-dah indeed.

heh, well though i'm a US citizen, everyone is from somewhere else (unless your Native American, in which case you're probably not all "BUY AMERICAN!") in my case, my family is from Russia so... yeah w/e.

Well, i'm glad you like them, and its surprising to hear that they are light and comfy.

all aboard the failboat!

Doby Headphone is the simulated surround technology that 99% of headphones that say 5.1 or 7.1 use. Thing is, i'd rather have it in my sound card (like most decent sound cards do) than my headphones. That way the money in the headphones is spent on better drivers, and the proccessing is done by a dedicated unit. you
