Yes, there is a problem, it incentivses the state to create scenarios where people are "caught" breaking the law. there are speed traps, intentionally confusing sineage, et. al. The state is not concerned with the well being of its residents, its concerned with extracting money from them.

it annoys me that they're thinking of taking it down. this really exposes the fraud that the modern police force has become. its no longer about serving and protecting the community and to deter crime and unsafe situations, but its purely municipal profit machine, designed to effectively increase the taxes on members

seriously? back in the day you'd have been #disemvoweled fo being a douche. i have no respect for any fuckwit who feels the need to go on a pedantic grammar nazi drive-by on some guy who was trying to help the community understand something. you sir are an ass.

I work in technology. I design and support networks for the SMB sector. But the focus wasnt really about what i do so much as understanding the point of all this gadgetry: to make people more productive and to make the tasks they do easier. This is the beef i have with the *nix crowd, specifically the part of that

i got your ball control right here...

i think the important thing here, which i think a lot of people are missing is that EA != DICE and Activision != Infinity Ward.

couldnt have said it better. developers are usually gamers. Publishers are usually cheerleaders. and like all cheerleaders i know, are catty, scornful backstabbing bitches who will do anything to get in bed with the quarterback.

Hearted for Truth.

i think hes referring to WP7 with that line. and yeah, i guess its late to the party... but you know what? i dont care if the hottest girl at the party shows up late, shes the one i want.

And half the shit you call computing—running custom ROMs, reinstalling OSes, fucking with network settings—is like a chef sharpening his knives over and over and calling that cooking.

the PC platform represents a small part of BF3's expected sales. we're grateful that DICE has put the PC gaming Master Race ahead of consoles as far as development priorities, but consoles are where the sales are lately.

do you're going to deny DICE a sale because of something their publisher said? that makes a lot of sense.

yeah... because DICE is certainly just a bunch of no talent hacks right? i mean, battelfield, mirrors edge, medal of honor and the upcomming battlefield 3 and Mass Effect 3 (in cooperation with BioWare obv) those are all just trash games... *roll eyes*

Actually its human baby skin, turns out there are amazing sound deadening properties with fetus skin. and using the aborted ones keeps the vegans at bay.

in all likelyhood its an optical S/PDIF connector

i get what you're saying and while Origin does have that overlay as well, obv. you cant see other friends lists.

Oh, i'll be the first to admit we're nowhere near parity on price, however the performance gains and drive sizes are such that the additional cost is far more balanced than it was in the early days of SSDs. They're just now starting to come out with enterprise grade SSDs and this will hopefully drive the adoption of

SSDs have dropped dramatically in price over the last year or so. you can pick up a decent 128GB SATA 3 SSD (like the one referenced in the article) for about $230. [www.newegg.com] No, its not as rock bottom cheap as spinning HDDs have gotten in the past 3-5 years, but it wasnt that long ago that platter drives were

SATA 3 SSDs are not new. i'm sorry its just not special. Newegg just ran a shell shocker deal on a Crucial 128GB SATA 3 SSD for $199 yesterday (normal price is about $230). This provides sustained read speeds of over 400MB/s.
