I guess mediocre American sedans follow the same migratory patterns as Monarch butterflies. I’ll call David Attenborough immediately.

Isn’t that just the formula for QOTD?
I feel the same way. It is one of the only cars that has ever moved me to see.
In Paris, they are still kicking around the way old Cadillacs are. In the US, I seem to find them in the weirdest places. There are three of them sitting in a field off US-26 in Oregon just outside of Madres.
For only $7k, all my most mediocre dreams could come true!
I was in Mexico last week, and the Gen 2 Tauri were think on the ground. I think they all migrated south for their retirement.
It might be worth your time to look at the data again. VR adoption has moved from laser disc levels of adoption to Gen 1 iPhone levels of adoption.
I think it’s a future looking bet, rather than a money maker right now. Getting adoption and content creators settled into a technology takes a long time. Somewhere at Sony, there is a room full of people already thinking about what will make PS6 more compelling than phone games, and I think VR will be part of it.
It really depends on what you’re doing with it. For games and fitness apps with a lot of movement, having freedom to duck and jump lets you get totally pulled into another world.
Agreed - and I suspect that some part of their project team know this. I would bet a shiny nickel that they are already working on a wireless V2 that will follow a year after launch.
The best car buying experience I’ve had was at a “no negotiation” Toyota shop. Their pricing was all between fair and fantastic. From test drive to keys in hand, was less than two hours. I can’t imagine shopping anywhere else.
Great call on Hagerty. A friend had her 1981 Mercedes SL stolen, and later recovered. Hagerty was ready to pay at reasonable auction value of ~$15k, not the $4k KBB.
I’m very interested in how they are going about getting to AWD. If this thing is RWD biased with 300+ HP, it could be a very fun car for trips to the mountain.
6 years ago, Liz Cheney would have been the poster child for hardline conservatism and seen as a future party leader - someone tougher than Paul Ryan but saner than Ted Cruz.
I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. This is a mechanism of control and exploitation shrouded in bullshit morality.
Among most gun owners under 60, the NRA is seen as an embarrassment. They are a tone deaf, ineffective, criminal organization who use the fears of the rural and suburban elderly to enrich themselves.
I’d be interested in seeing deeper methodology on this. I would hypothesize that in general, “fun” color cars tend to have more features, and exclusively be available on higher end models.
Spot on. I see Bentleys parked in front of McMansions and strip clubs in Memphis and Portland. I’ve only ever seen Rollers in front of 5 star hotels in New York and London.
