I don’t want our democracy in the hands of oligarchs. In the supreme court nominee discussion, let’s not lose sight of the fact that Citizens United is a fucking great reason to keep donations and phone banking going to take back the senate.

Thank you. Reagan and Dubya laid the path for Trump to follow, Trump is just saying the quiet part loud. In 50 years (if the planet is still habitable) I hope Dubya is remembered as a war criminal, and Trumpism is seen as a short, shitty cultural anomaly like flag pole sitting or the Macarena.

There is no amount of self effacing memoirs, Dancing With the Stars appearances or endearing hobbies that will let me forgive Boehner, Sarah Huckabee-Sanders, George W. Bush or any of the other despicable Republican faces of recent history.

I stand by what I said. What I heard from business and educational leaders was that they thought Vietnam could do more than make shoes and T-Shirts, and that development of technical training, improved infrastructure, foreign investment and home market companies was the roadmap to get there.

As someone who has spent a bit of time in Vietnam for work and school, I thought I would ad some context. Vietnam aspires to be an industrial power, and having an auto industry puts you on that path. The VinFast lineup will be selling against imports sold under steep tariffs.

I wonder if Elon will ever surrender on this claim that LiDar isn’t needed for FSD to become a thing. I know they are counting on software, and I know the LiDar units are expensive, but as a (very mediocre) programmer, it just seems like having more detailed input would give them more consistent results.
