Having spent high school and undergrad around a few kids from 7 houses and a nesting doll yacht wealth, I found this shows characters spookily accurate. There is a cost to having everything handed to you, and I think it takes a real toll on peoples soul.

The physical presence of Biden and Trump will be an interesting one, and I think (sadly) it will play an important role in impressions of the candidates. Biden is 6' and a trim 160 lbs. Trump is 6' 3", approaching 300 lbs. and increasingly appears to have trouble standing and with ramps and stairs.

Making the perhaps generous assumption that Covid will end, and there will be a future of gatherings that seem more normal, have you thought about whether you will carry this new found freedom forward?

...and remember that foreplay isn’t over until it feels like you’re feeding a horse.

It’s not far off the average, but it’s not a car you would cross shop with a Corolla, Optima, Altima or Civic. You make a good point that it provides a unique value proposition, but when it comes time buy a car, I’d argue that in the Model 3 is still $10k to much to really be an affordable car.

I hope they get this sorted. The promise of high speed internet available everywhere on earth holds some amazing potential (and some terrifying downsides).

Agreed - having key info front and center would be really nice.

These things are seriously fun to canyon carve in. The Model S felt like a boat, but the Model 3 feels like it was actually made to be driven hard. Performance aside, the site lines over the hood are fantastic.

Should anyone have a burning desire for a Crown, here’s one in Washington for $4200 in great condition. Sadly it isn’t a wagon.

Code is cheap, but testing it, documenting it and maintaining it is expensive.

Underrated comment.

Is anyone else feeling a conflicted desire to watch the RNC? Part of me wants to see how this shit show unfolds in real time, part of me doesn’t want to award dingleberry his most sought after currency (ratings).

Very well put. I think an Xterra with real 4WD, standard Apple Carplay starting at $27k and running up to $37k for a Pro4x flagship with beefier suspension, 33" wheels and a factory optioned roof top tent could find a nice home between the Outback and the 4Runner.

I remember into the early 2000s that the top of ski resorts and other tourist dense locations would often have a photographer present. It was also reasonably common to ask / offer a stranger at the top of a long hike to take a picture of your group and mail it to you.

I hope this decaying whiskey shit lives just long enough to see her sworn in as VP.

Giving up on the Titan would be giving up on the North American market. Nissan should plan a refresh of the Titan to go with that launch of the new Frontier and put some marketing bucks behind the roll out.

It’s probably not a bad idea for someone who feels like their body is holding them back to talk to a therapist before undergoing drastic alterations. For example, before getting gastric bypass my MoL had to go through multiple guided sessions to talk about why she was doing the procedure, what alternatives she had,

Before starting HRT or completing gender affirming surgery, a recommendation from a psychologist is almost always required.

I think the Venn diagram of those two groups is very close to being a circle.
