Nothing brings home the cluelessness of the car buying public about which wheels are driven like watching people put on chains. The mind reels at how many cars are turned away at the Tahoe check point for having chains on which are purely aesthetic.

Since G/O Media seems to be pushing you all into using the slide show format, may I request a future caterpillar poop related slide show to tell this story visually?
I was out this weekend in my Gen 3 taco with a buddy who has a GX460. I have no idea if that thing would fit in a Taco, but it seemed pretty smooth and sweet on the trails.
Totally agreed, but Toyota has walked away from TRD supercharger offerings which feels like a missed opportunity.
Toyota doesn’t seem to have a problem with power when they feel like it. The last Gen Tacoma had a TRD supercharger available, so did the Gen 3 4Runner, the Tundra and the Land Cruiser.
These are really great options, and I wish Toyota would do something similar, instead of trying to push you into a TRD Pro (with no added power).
Truth. Rake isn’t a problem after a year of hauling or towing a trailer.
Thanks for saying this. It’s a derpy spot to put a light bar, especially if you’re going into the woods with a roof rack.
Thank you for saying this. My experience is that a shocking number of people give up when the time comes to get wires through the fire wall and never even hook them up.
If that $100 let you actually configure the vehicle you wanted, it would be quite a coup. As far as dealers are concerned, high performance / low luxury vehicles in fun colors don’t exist.
This seems to be something you’re interested in understanding. You can read the full report here: http://online.pubhtml5.com/bydd/ksdy/#p=16
Your point is incomprehensible and directly contradicts what I said.
No - but I have spent most of my career thinking about how to get people to buy things and then get those things to them quickly.
I live in Palo Alto most of the time. I’ve worked for two companies in the top 10 on this list.
I read this as “Man with trust fund unencumbered by financial downturn”
100% agree. They are the threat, and if someone had shot them, it would arguably have been lawful.
I don’t think Tesla as a brand is particularly valuable, because I don’t think most people have a clear association with the logo or word mark. It seems like total fiction that it’s on a list as being more valuable than Mercedes, BMW, Ferrari or Porsche which are globally recognized.
I’m appalled by their behavior.
Thank you. Wasps would never have a house that tacky, a wife over 129 lbs and they only keep guns for quail hunting and suicide.
You’re certainly allowed to stand out in the front yard with it, as soon as you point it at someone, you are brandishing it and you’re breaking the law, unless you have a lawful reason to kill that person.
