I’m cooler with an adult eating these than a kid.  At least grown-ups can make an informed decision.

I shop at Whole Foods.
I buy organic everything.
I buy in bulk.

First off, work is work, and the people who do an honest job should be treated with dignity and respect, on the clock and off.

I was at a meeting with a company a couple of months ago which makes stuff for dog hydrotherapy (pools you let a dog swim in) and before the meeting we all had to put our phones in a locker outside the room. They stayed in the locker until the meeting was finished, and we picked them up afterwards. A company which

She used her personal cellphone, a fact we didn’t know before.

In related news, let us all take a moment to mourn the death of the Village Voice, truly a New York icon and a vanguard of the alt-weekly media age. Not that the final nail in the coffin hasn’t been tapped in over and over again for a decade or so, but here is an institution that ought to have been spared some time

Just send e-mail messages to everyone with a single byline on the HuffPo.

Interview doesn’t even resemble what it was in its glory days under Andy and Bob Colacello, when they had monthly columns by Truman Capote (front) and Fran Lebowitz (back). Its real peak was 1978 - 1982. (Find copies of those, kids. You’ll love them)

Not much good “unless you have two right feet,” said Rob Wickham, who operates the shop. “Pretty much risking their freedom for nothing.”

Ugh! This type of shit is why I stopped going to church. Too many damn pimps in the pulpit.

“It’s not appropriate to wear upper thigh length dresses to church.”

And in Aretha’s life, she famously told critics that she would wear whatever she wanted, and didn’t give a shit if they thought it was appropriate. It seems fitting for performers at her funeral to celebrate her attitude.

Did you watch the funeral? I wasn’t talking about Aretha, I was talking about the other performer wearing the exhuberant floor length sequined dress.

Many would say that it was disrespectful to wear a floor length sequined dress to a funeral, but this was Aretha’s funeral and I think she would like for everyone to wear what makes them feel fabulous.

LMAO @ GMG...

Me celebrating you all weekend..

Hey! I’ve had Boss Sauce before - I lived in Rottenchester when I was a kid! LOL.

This picture still kills me dead every time I see it:

I was one of those students too. I still remember the feeling the anxiety not knowing how I would pay my tuition and being scared that I wouldn’t be able to finish out the semester.
