That video wasn’t of a ‘bump’, the car went flying in the Armco due to very oddly placed curbing. To see a race car launch like that was very unexpected, so the use of ‘shocking’ didn’t seem out of place in my opinion.

According to Merriam Webster... it’s ‘geneses’

One thing to take into consideration is that this is Texas. And I don’t mean this in any sort of snarky way, it is a state that is known to be very windy, and particularly susceptible to gusty patterns. The above plot shows an average wind speed; it gives no data as to the gusting effects, which could very easily

Here’s to hoping the other is just a vinyl wrap.

If the titanium Leo Vince on my CBR600RR isn’t ‘Jalop’, than I don’t know what is.

ED doesn't really have any answers, but the Torq has some interesting ideas. First, it's going for maximum aerodynamics, so the flying wedge doesn't have any windows to muck up its coefficient of drag. Instead, the driver gets the outside world live-streamed using a 360-degree screen.

Not that surprised, people did the same thing with the Corvette Stingray press kits.

They engineered a way for air to bypass the restrictor. It was worth about 50 HP, which was a huge advantage as those cars normally made about 300.

You can just hear the upper control arm pop as it fails.

Just how much acid did that ad team take?

NUTS! If he leaves that on there for very long he is going to have a very noticeable difference in paint color after the uncovered part begins to fade from UV exposure.

Forgot to add that there used to be a Formula 1 track in, Rouen-les-Essarts, in the south part of the city that was setup on public roads.* Possibly worth a mention and visit given the nature of your trip.

Rouen is rather nice. Lived there for a year during grad school.

"Sure I'll take a quick pic before quali... wait you're not Seb!"

My first apartment was smaller than this. Granted for $20,000, I could have also bought an E46 M3 to go along with the apartment.

Patek Phillipe. Quite expensive watches, more so than a Rolex.

... but just look at it! It's too gorgeous to make this list.

I always assumed that reduced steering control was an intentional design feature.
