He even rotoscoped his own 3D animations for this piece. In other words, he built and animated 3D models of the ships and backgrounds, then went and redrew over them. It takes time to build and animate in 3D, let alone to go and redraw over them. This dude is def a one man animation studio!

Only took 19 years for a proper tribute. Had this thing preordered the minute it went live.
