Due to being a Vita title (and an early one, at that) this game never got the love it deserved back when it came out.

After playing through Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet and two Pixeljunk Shooters, I don’t think I need to play another indie retro twin stick shooter for a long time. I’m sure it will be fine, but I’m burnt out after too many of this kind of game, last generation. I wish more companies were making interesting new 2D…
Mega Man X4 and X5 were part of a ridiculous sale where they were like 80 cents each. I’m sure I’m not the only one who pounced on that sale :)
I also bought Suikoden II, but still haven’t played it.
Very exciting. I’m not holding my breath- but a multiplayer co-op mode would be much appreciated. If it's local co-op, even better.
People have been too nice to Bethesda for over a decade. The same complaints that people make about Ubisoft games year-in/year-out also apply to Bethesda games in most ways. People can get burned out of the same thing after too many rehashes without significant improvements. It sounds like a lot of the new changes are…
Game production? In my view, Valve hasn't made a game in years :)
Batman and Galak-Z were my biggest disappointments in gaming, this year. I was eager for both of them, and I didn’t really like either game. Finishing Arkham was a chore for me, and the concept and style of Galak-Z could not overcome the dull and uninspired twin-stick gameplay that I had my fill of last gen. I wish it…
Not a bad choice at all. I have all the whole series in both Japanese and US editions and Zwei is definitely my favorite. Also, it’s usually the easiest to find of the Saturn games, so it’s the least expensive :)
The second one.
Probably a consolized MVS. I don’t have the time or energy to rebuild an original Neo Geo upright cabinet at this point in my life (we just had a baby)- so this would be the next best thing :)
OK. Fine. They finally sold me on VR. Take my money. It’s all yours.
Yesssssss!!!!
And yet, Fallout 4 is a contender with its 84 on metacritic and user reviews hovering around 6 out of 10. Xenoblade Chronicles X has an 85 currently and its predecessor was highly acclaimed.
I appreciate your passion, but remain unmoved.
Sweet! Dariusburst is coming west this week. I somehow hadn’t heard about this and was just planning on importing it after Christmas:)
Used the Amazon book deal to pick up The Complete Calvin and Hobbes box set for half price, picked up Tearaway for $20 on PS4, and a few half price Blu Rays. Also picked up a few discounted graphic novels. Nothing too extreme, this year.
God, I hope they bring this west. I love this series so much.
For sure. I think aside from the Gamecube (which to be fair had pretty decent 3rd party support in its time) Nintendo consoles exist as the side system- but rarely as the primary platform for core gamers, ever since the N64.
Well I named Star Fox, already. But I wasn't a fan of any of N64-era Rare games. I guess Rogue Squadron was pretty decent though. Even still- it was embarrassing how many more good games (and more variety) was available on the competing platforms at the time.
