I see others have already beat me to the punch on Grandia- but how can I stay mad at a JRPG list that includes the criminally under-rated and under-loved Phantasy Star IV? This list is great and for once I actually agree with every single inclusion.

That rainy day scene in Ghost in the Shell... Same director, of course.

Oh- I didn’t notice it was in the “coming soon” section. Then, I guess it sucks to be an Xbox gamer for two more weeks ;)

Rare Replay collection is pretty nice, though. Wish I had an Xbone to play that, honestly.

I’ve had a Wii-U since day one, and I have never even opened TVii to try it.

Mario Clash, Red Alarm, Wario Land, Teleroboxer, and my favorite version of Mario Tennis. Yep- the Virtual Boy was an awesome little system. I know what I'm playing after work tonight :)

Oh man, I remember the giant NamcoLand in San Jose had that deluxe G-LOC game, like over 20 years ago. Blew my mind. I remember back in the late 90’s when those Sega GameWorks super arcades started opening around the country- I got to play them again and also the slightly less mobile, though arguably more technically

Well it does explain it (even if it doesn’t do a very good job) right from the get-go. Also, there is a boss early on in the game who is another animal experiment. He’s called “Ripper-roo” or something like that. He’s insane and wears a straight-jacket.

The entire premise of Crash Bandicoot is that Dr. Neo Cortex created him in a brain experiment gone wrong (he experimented on all kinds of animals). Crash broke loose and then Crash’s girlfriend was next in line for experimentation and Crash has to save her. It’s the intro to the first game.

You are correct :)

Rooster update! :D

I was about to call you a monster- but then you admitted that the top 9 is basically a free-for-all toss-up, which is completely true.
I would actually knock Porco Rosso out of top 9 and introduce Castle of Cagliostro. Ghibli or not, it’s amazing :)

Well then I look forward to properly buying the complete version again once you're finished. Good luck with your further development:)

Pretty cool.
Visually and conceptually, it kind of reminds me of The Sentinel from the late 80’s- although the gameplay looks to be thankfully modernized. One of my favorite puzzle games.

True to my word, I bought it and am playing it now. It’s fantastic! Great job you and your studio have done with this. I miss a good arcade racer and I am a big fan of classic Sega racers. This game scratches that itch and plays as well as it looks. The music is phenomenal as well! If you don’t mind answering another

Thank you for the reply! I will seriously check out the other titles as well and will definitely be buying this tonight :)

This game looks amazing. Like amazingly amazing. Is it available on Vita?? If so, i’ll buy it tonight. I thought these games were only for the weird PlayStation phones.

You are an idiot.

So have you had luck demanding your money back from a pawn shop, or GameStop, or an independently owned game store when you inadvertently purchased an import game? Your explanation for the necessity of region-locking is as lame as your insult.
