I wanted to love Witcher 2, but I only got about halfway through. The combat never, ever clicked for me and the inventory/upgrade management was clunky and un-fun. I couldn't focus on the story or lose myself in the world, so I got bored and never came back.

I will definitely wait on reviews and pick up a second-hand

Looks pretty, but I can't wait to see what the mod community does with GTA V. I don't know if graphical overhauls can fix what a boring game GTA IV was.

Hey, it's Roger! :)

Never tried it. I remember when GTA IV came out back in '08, me and a few friends had a few hours of good times dickin' around in drive-by's, but now I have much less time, and my friends and I have very little time to schedule online gaming. We only play local co-op because it's more engaging. I love GTA V (the first

We're going in circles here.

Shut him DOWN!!! :D

Well said. This perfectly encompasses the major areas of game design that made Final Fantasy so great (in the first 10 games). They have abandoned so much of it that I don't consider the past 14 years of Final Fantasy games to be part of the same series.

Some people will complain about story or character design, but I

For one thing, it's not just a $30 controller- it's $200.

I thought this article was going to be about the last 25 years in which my dad has played nothing but Tetris.

Everyone already has headphones- but when you buy a new phone or ipod your existing headphones don't become obsolete due to incompatibility. New TVs are still compatible with your consoles/DVD players/stereo components, etc.
People who already bought a $200 USB arcade stick should be allowed to use them on the new

I bought the very first Madcatz TE Fightstick when it came out 5 or 6 years back. It's awesome and I use it even more on PC as a USB joystick- but honestly, there's no way I'm buying another arcade stick this generation. They need to patch in support for the existing sticks or I'll just go back to playing console

One of my top 10 games of last generation. This is a fantastic game with amazing mechanics, deep and rewarding challenge for those who play at advanced difficulty, and beautiful art direction for an action shooter. I don't know if Mikami will ever top it (and I'm a fan of his Resident Evil games).
I know he's moved on

Well you said yourself that this game plays off of the general tropes of old-fashioned adventure movies where every scene and visual cue serves the needs of the story.

This guy is great. One of the best playthroughs I've seen this whole week and the guy does an amazing job of giving the play-by-play of his own playthrough the whole time. Does anyone know if he hosts any other playthroughs? I could watch this dude all day :)

DriveClub is beautiful, but it was a drag to play. I sold it after about 2 weeks. I want to see Evolution make another game with this engine, though.

It's a tough line trying to walk between arcade and sim and I really think that Grid and Project Gotham are the only series that have ever gotten it close to right.

Those

Which explains why it's there, but still doesn't explain why we can't turn it off. I'm never going to use the camera or the VR, so there's no good reason to not give us the option.

It's already dimmed. Would rather turn it off.

I set my controller to auto shut off after 10 minutes to save battery. Also, they can make a tiny little LED light up when you tap the home button to tell you which player controller you are like every other controller has done for the past decade. I'm more bothered by the fact that something so simple couldn't have

The only good use I've seen for this feature. And after a half hour, I'm over it. Why won't they let us turn them off???
