I love the reflective surfaces of the tracks, but the course layout looks boring, still. I'm seeing a lot of wiiiiiiide soft turns and some nice upside down moments, but this game looks slow and tame compared to any of the main Wip3out or F-Zero games. I hope these are just the training courses and the later stages

I know they're only publishing and not developing, but I still put the blame on Bethesda, mostly. They should have pushed this game back- it sounds like it's pretty under-cooked in many places :(

The ridiculous guns and the bright art direction. The same people who made R&C made this game. If you're at all familiar with that series, I can't see how you wouldn't make the same connection.

This game looks like a fun blend of Ratchet & Clank and Jet Set Radio. I don't plan on getting an Xbone anytime soon, but I hope this game is great and I hope to play it someday.

South Park for $20??? Sold. I'd meant to pick it up months ago, but I was waiting for bugs to be patched and then it got put on the back burner. I've been waiting to play this for years :)

Bayonetta has layers of nuance in its gameplay. There is no shortage of games with a heavy emphasis on narrative. It's nice to have a variety, and I can't think of any other studio who makes the type of games that Platinum makes who comes anywhere close to achieving the depth in gameplay and challenge and variety in

N64, even.

Came here to say this. I think I know what I'm playing again this afternoon...

Gesundheit.

Try playing the Bayonetta games on the high difficulty settings. You won't get past the second level without learning the deep mechanics. To get any satisfaction from Bayonetta is to challenge yourself. The beauty of the Bayonetta games is that they put so many layers of gameplay into it- to play it on the easiest

You make a compelling case, and I want to agree with you because I consider Super Mario 64 to be possibly my favorite game of all time. N64 came out at a crucial point in my life right before I turned 15 and I saved up all summer to buy one on launch day.

I have no sympathy at all. After wasting a couple hours playing SFIV on 3DS at launch, I realized that you either need to use a d-pad or skip fighting games on the 3DS altogether.

Total: $835

This looks delightful.

They're going to sell the Gamecube adapter separately, right? I can live without playing all the Wii U games with a Gamecube controller- but I still plan on getting Smash Bros. U and I still have a bunch of perfectly good Gamecube controllers that I intend to use to play this with.

Lucky New Zealand, I guess... ;)

I've only ever tried the online once. I bought MK8 for local multiplayer. It's still fun.

The Dreamcast was such an amazing console- I'll assume this is a compliment. The Wii-U has already been available in North America longer than the Dreamcast was, though- so hopefully it has a happier ending. In any case, I've been using my Wii-U more this year than any of the other current platforms.

That track design is looking super weak. I like the twisting challenge of classic Wipeout tracks. All they show in the video is wide lane straightaways and one or two easy left turns. I look forward to seeing the final game, but I'm just a little concerned.

I buy CDs, mostly indies and used. There's great used record stores around here. It's cheaper than downloading from itunes, and there's liner notes and stuff to look at. They are easy to store and easy to load into my mp3 library and mp3 player. And when I get tired of them, I can trade in stuff that I don't listen to
