Can it please be Friday, already?

That's actually a pretty apt comparison. Of course I don't think Puppeteer's art style is as good as Astal's. Astal is pure beauty- wrapped around a "decent" sidescroller.
Well, I mean- if you're a fan of Dynamite Heddy, then this game is definitely up your alley. But yeah, it certainly doesn't have the genius level design, boss battles, and diversity of that classic. I think I can safely recommend it to someone with your (very good) tastes in games. But yeah, it might be best to wait…
Awww, shucks... You've clearly got good taste, too ;)
The scissor mechanic is actually the best part of the game. The platforming that surrounds it is where they dropped the ball (in my opinion). This game is really, really cool. But it's not for everyone. I feel bad, because I want this game to reach its intended audience- but it's an unpolished game that will turn off…
It's a hybrid of both. It's got all the great visual tricks and charm in the world- but it's a pretty weak platformer. Some people can overlook this, and others can't. Personally, I fall into the latter camp. A 2D platformer doesn't have to reinvent the wheel, but it should at least have the basics mastered, and I…
I own this game and love it- however I don't feel it's anywhere near essential for most gamers. It's a beautiful game full of whimsy and charm, but the gameplay is pretty weak. Granted: there aren't many great platformers on the PS3 (at least not exclusives- there are plenty of great classics available through PSN),…
It won't. The stupid top 12 lists stay at 12 titles. New titles will be added, others will be bumped off.
Cool concept. seems like they could do a lot more with it as a co-op party game. In fact it kind of reminds me of the co-op levels of New Super Mario Bros. U where the second player could use the game pad to place platforms on the screen for Mario to jump on as the other player controlled Mario. This looks like the…
I don't really buy dlc. Also, why should Nintendo or it's fans have to explain why a two and a half year old port of a game that has already been played by fans isn't selling well on the Wii U? Warner Bros. was just looking to make an easy buck by rehashing an old game on a new system and it backfired.
Thanks for the heads up! downloaded :D
That sounds like a terrible trade. Give up a PS3 just to get a XB1 for the same price as a PS4?
Well speaking from the experience of owning multiple models of PSP, DS, 3DS, a Wii U, and several smartphones- I can honestly say that the OLED screen on my VITA is the nicest looking handheld screen I've ever owned, by a pretty decent margin. Maybe the new LCD is very nice, but all reports I've read seem to indicate…
This is what made me finally jump the gun on the Original model. Those holiday deals on the Walking Dead bundle were unreal, plus I had $100 in Amazon credit. I couldn't resist any longer. I also picked up a 16 GB memory card for $20. Longer battery life is nice, but since I mainly play my portable games at home/hotel…
I'm glad to hear them acknowledge a need for single player games that take proper advantage of the pad. I love the way Wii U facilitates local multiplayer, but I just don't have the opportunity or desire to play party-style every time I power up the Wii U. As much as I love Super Mario 3D World- it's a game that's…
Interesting. Zelda returns to sidescrolling (a la Adventure of Link) by way of Monster World. I like it!
Man- that gif made me think this was going to be something like a hybrid between Virtual On/Armored Core/Zone of the Enders. Then I watched the video and it seems like more of a twitch FPS. Oh well...
That's much better sounding than his original Konami pitch of Sweat Sweat to the Oldies: Remix.
Step 1: team up with Richard Simmons.
Step 2: nintendo revamps Deal-a-Meal.
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Back to the drawing board because this is a terrible idea.
I haven't played this game, yet- but what didn't you like about it?
