Super Mario 3D World: $60

Mach schnell!!

At $10 plus Club Nintendo points, I don't think I'll be that disappointed. If I really hate it, I can sell it off and make the money back. That's why I waited for a super low price :)

Awesome! Snagged the Paper Mario: Sticker Star for $10. I was on the fence with this one, since I was a fan of the first two games, but never finished the one on Wii (it was boring). This game seemed to polarize fans, so I decided to wait for a price drop and get it on the cheap. Naturally I totally forgot about it

I still have the crappy old DVD on my shelf just for that wonderful dub :)

Maybe that's not such a bad thing. If consoles are holding back the PC graphics output that much, this early in the generation- then maybe PC-centric developers will start moving away from this shitty cross-platform, AAA shit factory that has taken over the industry the past 6 years or so. Maybe it's the nostalgia

The Disaster Report/Raw Danger series. Hard to explain what makes them so endearing (probably the poor localization and questionable presentation/production values). So much fun to play and replay over and over and over...

Kotaku's top 12 lists are just the worst. For every platform they are just the worst. I'm not sure how they compile them. I wonder if they just scan through Metacritic and take the 12 games with the highest average score. I just can't figure out how they can be so consistently bland.

Onyx. Giant dragon snake made of boulders. I would hate to run into one of those in the wild. Nothing short of sneaking up on it with a stick of dynamite could harm it, and it could crush you in an instant. Hell, you'd be screwed even if you tried to hole up in the safety of a car or a house.

To be fair- you could play the whole game like that (I did). Giving players the option to use the Fludd as a platforming crutch was a way to ease newcomers into the complex yet smooth controls of a 3D Mario adventure. There is almost always a way to access hidden parts of the levels via long jumps, backflips, and wall

Based on what I've seen, this game doesn't look much like a successor to 64 at all (my favorite 3D Mario game). This game looks a lot more linear without any of the exploration of large worlds. I'm sure there are a ton of little secrets in this game, but the levels seem much more condensed and there is a much greater

Did you forget the levels where you lost your water pack? Those levels had the best platforming challenge and tricky level designs of any 3D Mario game.

I have been waiting for a reason to justify a Vita purchase, but I just don't really play games on the go. Still, there's a great ecosystem of software I want to jump into. I really just don't want to spend upwards of 200 bucks for features I won't use. Namely, portability and remote play. The Vita TV is the best

I know there's nothing all that good to play on it, and I know that it's gonna be that way until next summer at least- but... but... NEW SYSTEMS!! OMG I WANT!!!

Sorry... I'm sorry... I lost control for a second there. I'll just go back to my pile of excellent and unfinished games cluttering up my gaming backlog.

Nintendo typically releases games on Fridays and Sundays. This is not unusual for them. Certainly not their first Friday release in the past year (or five years, for that matter), and likely not the last. If anything- it seems that Nintendo is it's own biggest competition next week (at least as far as software new

Not sure what's so ballsy about releasing two flagship software titles on the same day as competing hardware releases. Different audiences, limited hardware supply and a huge fan following (not to mention the total lack of quality launch software on either of the new consoles) means that Friday could be one of the

Or you could walk down the adjacent halls to see more impressive art in a less chaotic environment and actually take it in. Legions of surging tourists pushing and shoving for photos aren't broadening their horizons, they're basically just snapping photos of a famous object in order to show everyone that they were

I don't know how you could enjoy pushing around in the midst of the massive crowds that swarm around those particular exhibits at all times for multiple hours. Exquisite and culturally relevent, yes- but dealing with a neverending mosh-pit of camera-toting tourists in order to view them sounds about as appealing as
