My ideal Mario is hopping around in a green goomba boot (or kuribo's shoe if you want to be all serious about it). Does such a figurine exist?

Totally agreed. I have to be pretty hung over or exhausted and tired of driving in the middle of the night to actually order anything else- but the fries are pretty great. It's funny how I'd rather eat those frozen, cafeteria-style crinkle cut fries over hot and fresh In-N-Out Burger fries every time ;)

That sounds terrible. One trick I learned many years ago is to always order your fries with NO SALT. They have to make a new small batch and you get hot and fresh fries. Then you can grab a little packet of salt or two and salt them yourself. This is a good tip for all fast food chains, and I've never been told "no" :)

What planet is Zaxby's on?

Whether or not the rest of the menu is terrible- the fries are delicious.

If you enjoy a good crinkle-cut fry, then you'll probably dig the fries at Del Taco. They've been serving delicious, old-school crinkle cut fries since the 70's, at least :)

I'm pretty sure he took a few hits while taking some of these pics ;)

I can't play this on a PC, sadly :( but the second it comes to a console- ANY console!- I'll buy it day one. Anyway, this is a great project- good luck!!!

Yeah, I've got a Wii-U. Unfortunately I was a chump who got it at launch because Nintendo said Pikmin 3 was a "launch-window" game- then they pulled a fast one and delayed it :P
Anyway, now that there are actually some more decent games (Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, and Wind Waker HD), I'm very happy with the system- and

I agree. If I'm gonna pay full price for a game, I want a physical copy. That said, Pikmin 3 is just wonderful and as soon as you find a copy available in a store you should totally buy it :D

You really should get Pikmin 3, ASAP.

Honestly, the lack of Japanese titles is why I'll probably wait at least a year to buy either. I just don't care about online shooters or sandbox games, and aside from Witcher 3, I'm not interested in any WRPGs on the horizon, either. More than any other console launch in recent generations, there is almost nothing

I could maybe understand you finding the arcade game dull if you weren't also trying to compare it the thoroughly mediocre/lesser NES version. Did you ever play further than the first couple stages, by chance?

As a fan of the arcade game, I always felt the NES game was pretty dull. Unlike the Bionic Commando NES game which completely improved on the arcade original with fantastic gameplay, Strider NES lost all the magic of the arcade game with horrible platforming controls, dull level design (backtracking with keys in the

I disagree. In my experience the gameplay was totally solid- especially for an arcade platformer. It rewarded memorization, similar to a scrolling shooter, so that if you knew exactly where to jump, flip, and slash- you could sail through the game without getting hit. The ability to climb on any surface was a cool

None of the Strider games were "metroidvania". The author is mistaken. I recommend hunting down a copy of Strider 2 on PS1, it's compatible with all PS3's and came with a bonus disc that had the arcade original Strider on it. Also, if you emulate arcade games via MAME, then you absolutely MUST play Osman. It's the

I have a 3DS and I love JRPGs, but I'll be honest- 3DS doesn't have the best JRPGs around at the moment. It's worth having a 3DS because it's cheap, backward compatible with DS games- and in addition to all kinds of niche Japanese games, it's also got the support of Nintendo's first party titles.
The Vita is amazing

Toys R Us was the only place doing guaranteed pre-orders for the PS2 back in 2000. I happened to see an ad in the paper that said they were selling limited pre-orders on a saturday so I ran over and reserved one. Come October 26th, they opened at midnight and had my PS2 and games ready to go while all my friends were

Thanks for the warning, I was about to jump on this. I'll never understand why these companies think it's ok to cheap out on their limited editions. It's really not asking too much to just include a standard case and a large-size art book and just stuff them into a big cardboard box. The whole point of a limited
