Wreck-It Ralph

It's from Disney Animation Studios, not Pixar. It was the short that played before Wreck-It Ralph :)

I have never cared about achievements, but they sure seem to make everyone around me a lot more annoying. One time my friend noticed that I only had one trophy left on a downloadable PSN game, and he was like- "Dude, you're almost there- you gotta get that last trophy!" and I told him I didn't care about trophies- it

Exclusive Japanese games are the only reason I ever bought both Xbox consoles. While I'd like to believe they're getting amazing exclusives like Shenmue 3 and Lost Odyssey 2- I have a bad feeling we're more likely to get Kinect-controlled horseshit like Child of Eden (which played better with a controller), Steel

Then why were you responding to a comment about the dwindling popularity of the 360 in other countries? Anecdotal accounts of American soldiers preferring their American consoles while stationed in the middle east says nothing about the greater popularity of the PS3 in the rest of the world. The original comment was

Were your friends in Iraq/Afganistan American soldiers? If so, that only reinforces the original point being made- that the Xbox primarily appeals to Americans first and foremost.

I remember reading that on Polygon a couple weeks back. I'm not holding my breath, since it sounds like the game has been scrapped and restarted multiple times and has been shaping up to be something of a mess.

I hardly ever watch TV. I already have a very limited cable plan and the few shows I do watch are available on demand. If this is Microsoft's big plan for the future, then it seems like I'm not meant to be a part of it.

I just had Skittles a couple weeks ago and I was so bummed that they changed the lime to disgusting sour apple. When did this happen?? How???!!!!!

You're pretty much dead on. The Dreamcast sold over 10 million units in just under 2 years. That's actually better than the Gamecube, the original Xbox, and certainly better than any previous Sega console. It's pretty close to the kind of numbers that both the 360 and PS3 saw at the beginning of this gen. It was never

Me too :)

Yeah, I always thought it was fucked up, too- but when in Rome...

The PC Engine DUO was one of the best consoles of all time. I have one sitting right next to my PS3 and it seriously gets more playtime than any of my current generation consoles (at least for the past 8 months or so). I would love for the PS4 to physically resemble this thing :D

You might be.
I only kept like 3 manuals from the rental shop- because almost every single game I ever rented already had the manual stolen by the time I got it.

Common logic would be to answer a question you know the answer to instead of acting like a 12 year old, insulting new players and posting lame internet memes. It goes both ways here.

And as the other poster mentioned, younger players may not share the same common knowledge as us, because game design has changed so much

To be fair, it is a little confusing to some younger gamers. Some of these kids may be finishing Super Mario World for the first time (damn, I envy them)- and they don't know that in the original cartridge you had to just turn off the system or reset it. What's more annoying to me is the assholes on internet comment

Oh wow- thanks for the link. Good luck with the game, it looks like a lot fun :)

Now playing

You can't fool me Kotaku. I know this is really the long-awaited return of Taco!

Too many hard-edge panels makes it look like the new Batmobile or a (current) Transformer. I understand that this is a cool aesthetic in the year 2013, but I think this look abandons too much of Lamborghini's iconic design. This thing will look so ridiculous in a decade. I mean- it already looks ridiculous NOW.
