Delightful :)
God- I was literally just asking myself the same thing when I saw that pic! It seems like there were about 50 different Crazy Castle games released on the NES/Gameboy in the span of like 2 or 3 years. I was the unfortunate recipient of one of them when I was about 9 or 10 years old :(
Nice! Thanks for the heads up- Steam it is, then :)
I'm sure we're all guilty of complaining about certain elements that have changed over time within a given series at some point or another. However, those who take it upon themselves to self-righteously call out individual game makers without having full knowledge of the inner workings of the development environment…
What's the price? If it's under $10, I'll get it soon- if not, I'll probably wait a bit :)
if they made a browser-based version, i'd make it my homepage. looks awesome- hope they bring it to more platforms :)
Reading through the comments, I see a lot of Resistance 3 love. So maybe I'll give it a chance after all :)
Resistance 3 was shunned because of the failures of the first two. Those two games were so different from each other that it really seemed like the series suffered from an identity crisis, and it definitely divided the fanbase. I liked the first game at the time I played it, but there were much better shooters out by…
I liked the original when I first played it in 2007, mostly because of it's old-school charm. But it certainly had it's share of problems (in the gameplay department, that is) that were never really addressed or improved upon with the sequels. The story was definitely interesting, but as you said- the characters were…
Just one man's observation. The truth is what it is- do with it what you will.
They definitely brightened the rest of the colors- so in contrast the grain doesn't stand out as much, but it's definitely there. I hope this means that they are building this from the PS2 version, as the Wii version was the one that originally removed the paper texture.
Looks like it's more fun to drive than the cars in GTAIV were.
It must have been terrible being forced at gunpoint to play Mario games beyond the Super NES era...
That occasionally happens to me too. I don't think it's our fault, really. Unlike a passive form of entertainment like film/TV, a video game will frequently switch you back and forth from playing to watching to playing again quite frequently, and with very little warning- so your mind is switching it's level of focus…
On. The sound and dialog quality is far too unreliable for me to trust just the actors and sound designers. Also, unlike movies and TV shows- it's a lot harder to pause or rewind in-game dialog if you mishear something. Some games don't require subtitles- like the Uncharted games- but for the most part, I don't want…
Poole strikes me as the kind of person who misinterprets everything and is frustrated by new things that defy his limited expectations. He probably has a hard time enjoying anything, and it's not so much frustrating as it is sad.
hey guyw i like tio tyipw with glovews on toop!
Everything you just listed is EXACTLY what I loved about the game :)
They make Kinect games with optional controller support because the Kinect is so terrible for almost every genre of video game. If they improved the Kinect to the point where it was actually a functional method to play the games, there wouldn't be a demand for traditional controller support. The other factor to…
