Yea, it’s unfortunate. I wonder if there will be a backlash (again) with the current wave of new Switch owners who bought the console for ACNH. I have gone through two Joycons and a pro controller since launch ... And the Switch isn’t even my main console.

I mean, our president can make official proclamations on Twitter... So why wouldn't this be legally binding? The law is pretty clear when it comes to false advertising... Twitter is an advertising vehicle for companies. The courts are typically very lenient in favor of companies... But this is a blatant lie. I think a

Yes, but what happens when you buy something from a store, that is marketed as subscription free... You take it home and open it and set it up and only then there is a TOS agreement that says the company is legally allowed to switch its business model and brick your device at anytime? Disassemble and return it, with a

1 point that really got me was the “1% of capital one users have gone into customer assistance” Now I completely understand that the US is approaching 30% unemployment and that’s something that’s hard to fake... However plenty of people are trying to take advantage and game the system in other ways... Such as telling

I would add, if you’re one of the essential employees or if you’re still working from home, don’t change your habits with your retirement accounts. That should still be a part of your budget if it was on the past. If it wasn’t, then add it now! There is no better time to save in a retirement account than when the

Yea... I have a similar issue. My budget definitely shifted around. I mean, I’m saving money as public transit (I’m "essential" so still need to get to work) is free... No hair cuts (cutting my own) no lyfts and obviously no needless spending for outings... But if I’m lucky to get groceries, which I’m not on a

And that's why this economy has never been stable. We ebb and flow, pushing the poor further into debt while lining the pockets of the rich. Maybe now is a good time for. A soft reset.

This sounds like an employment problem more so than a real world problem.... Which is still a problem and you're entitled to it... But makes this more of a work rant. Not exactly the best time for those, wouldn’t you agree?

When you start using derogatory terms casually they start to lose their meaning. I wouldn't throw around the term "incel" to define a nerdy hamster in Animal Crossing.

Ugh I am so disappointed. My order has been delayed. I was so excited for it 😔 hope it arrives soon.

Clean them once thoroughly won’t hurt them, it’s repeated cleanings that will mess them up. After an initial cleaning, make sure your hands, or family member’s hands, are clean before touching them. Hell, I don’t let people touch my controllers without clean hands before covid was a thing, so if is no different now.

Yea, but when physical retailers aren’t keeping stores open and when their e-commerce is delayed... Logically it makes sense to do as he said. Most states and countries are in lockdown and hence this whole article and why there is a delay. The delay isn't just in manufacturing or even developing. It's also in shipping

Seems like a great excuse to not release multi generational games and just stick them all on PS5 to push hardware sales. I’m not being cynical. They’re a business doing what they need to do to survive in this “new” world.

I am shocked that you didn't mention that the whole pandemic was a corporate plot that Nintendo instigated to gain a massive launch for Animal Crossing and push Switch hardware. Considering everything else you said, you may as well have added that tidbit.

Some of the travel cards are still pretty decent for “cashback” or other rewards. Chase for example has a pretty fleshed out rewards store. Cashback for it isn’t great, but sales of gift cards and other things do make it pretty worthwhile...

They still can’t verify my identity. Chase can. Amex can. Discover can. Board of my state where I hold my career’s license can.

You know, it’s not terrible. But it has 3 flaws that makes me immediately dismiss it.

Well companies have in the past.

All of the precautions they took by using draconian anti-consumer measures and they couldn't patch out a simple bug... SMH.

Did y’all increase the amount of ads we see per article because of increase traffic due to the coronavirus crisis? 1 per paragraph... paragraphs that were barely two sentences... Damn, that’s terrible. I wouldn’t have thought this site would be the site to take advantage of something like this just to make a few more
