Uses less gas? Sure. But costs the price god knows how much fossil fuel sourced electricity to regularly operate. This is just as wasteful (if not more) that an H2. Only this time, the emissions guilt gets to be put outta sight outta mind. Yay!!!!?

I drive a PHEV right now. It was the right tool for the job.
ROFL. It’s cute that you think that dealers add cost, and selling direct “online” is the magic bullet for reducing them. Do you REALLY think that the manufacturers won’t just charge the same prices either way? And then some, because they will have to directly provide the services that dealers currently provide.…
I live in Montreal, and we have lots of snow. Being able to simply leave the snowbanks and then aggressively park back in there while I hear my neighbors try to spin out, or dig themselves out, is absolutely worth it. Snow tires are obligatory here, by the by.
Hell, I live in the midwest/snowbelt, I have a FWD, and I’ve never used snow tires. I learned how to drive in the snow and I don’t act like an asshole when conditions are bad.
I assume the pilot will get a stern talking to. (I hope they don’t bow under pressure...)
No. After driving for 4 hours or so, I need a piss and something to eat.
Are you and your company deeply tied to the leader of a regime who is invading a foreign country? Is your company the result of massive graft and you were able to purchase a state owned company for pennies on the dollar? Is your wealth tied to corruption and being best buds with a maniac with delusions of recreating…
Also cheaper to insure!
Looking at your foto, I did what I always do when looking at the engine of whichever British car I was driving that had just inexplicably stopped — I squinted and zeroed in on the shiniest spots. Cuz, other than the belt pullies, there is never anything shiny except something that is now out of place, or broken, or…
Thanks for sharing that; found this in same area, which I would much rather purchase than the Cheetah
Pervasive rust in a 70's Toyota? I’ll show you pervasive rust..
ALWAYS check the underside when you think you’re in love...
I don’t expect a lake to be filled with rusting cars.
I really wish conservatives and Trump supporters had not somehow taken over ownership of the American flag. Because anytime you see shit tons of people waving them fanatically these days, save for maybe the 4th of July parade, its ALWAYS a group of Trump-supportin pieces of shit like these folks and it sends the wrong…
not just the economy of scale issue; its hard to offset the cost of a $15000 battery pack even if you got e-motors and transmissions for free.
That would be the right swap, but I’d look into an 2.3 Ecoboost.
In terms of style, I would chose the Ford Fusion when they switched to to Aston Martin front end.
Ford and GM’s refusal to build new vehicles that compete in this space is what leads to prices like this.
