The average of the cars you selected is $15, 232. But, sure, cherry pick the cheapest one for the sake of argument.
I checked Hemmings and Cars Dot Com. Similar Mustangs were listed much higher than this one.

A quick check of some listings (and there are more of these out there than you’d think) shows the asking price is at the lower end of the market. Yeah, I was surprised too. I’ve owned a couple of Mustangs and have attended a lot of Mustang events. Mustangs from this era are still popular among Mustang fans.

Two years ago CarMax offered me $16,500 for my 2016 Miata. (I didn’t pull the trigger.) Running the same car through their on-line offer generator now I would get $20,500. (Not gonna sell this time either.) Whether they’re selling the same now or more they’re paying more for the inventory.

A dealer has fixed costs—utilities, insurance, payroll, loans on property and inventory, etc. If you sell five cars this week versus ten last week those costs will remain the same. Just saw one of these driving around town this week. Like today’s NP/ND car it looked to be in pretty good shape and the fact someone was keeping a 20 year old car on the road was impressive. NP.
