I thought the picture at the top of the article was the Chevy Blazer EV at first glance.  Yeah this vehicle is going to be DOA. The only possible way they can capture any buyer’s interest is with low pricing and/or range. However, I am not hopeful that either of those will happen. My gut feeling is this is going to be

Agreed. My daughter had a VW Beetle diesel when she was in college because she would drive home alot (100 mi one way) and she would get mileage in the 40s mpg. When the VW buyback came along she sold the vehicle back and used the money on a then new Honda Civic and gets consistent high 30s low 40s on highway trips.

Chevy Astro Van...a solid, reasonably priced van that can be used as a work van when the open air bed of a pick up just won’t work.

A classic example of all show, no go...that being said I would own it just for grins.

I had this very type of vehicle. 2017 Ram 1500 standard cab, HEMI and short bed. It suited my needs personally. I am single so I didn’t need family space, I have no dog, so no back seat required. What I did need was something to haul 2 things - a bunch of boxes weekly for work and because I had 2 horses at the time I

You know, all I know about Gunther Steiner is from watching Drive to Survive and reading articles about the ups and downs of the Haas team. However, I think he has done a pretty good job of navigating adversity and still apparently keeping his sanity. I would wish that before he retires he can enjoy at least one

It’s hard to walk away from that oligarch money...probably harder then walking away from energy drink company money.

Yup, same here. They are awful.

Or flash your lights in celebration

The guy who squeezed the one Chevy Bolt on the front of the transport is probably second guessing that decision.

Agreed. Before this news was ever released I was hoping amazon might have picked it up as a replacement for the departing The Expanse. However, I am optimistic and will give it a fair shot. If we got something of the production quality of The Expanse or even the earlier BSG reboot, it might not be too bad. I recently

Marketing basically. When the Ram came out it was different looking and made people think about buying a pick up who never would have thought of it. They were capable trucks, but I think some people bought them based on looks rather then need. There was also a tie-in with the movie Twister where the vehicle was driven

Similar experience...I went to Surinam to visit family. At the time I had an early 2000s Silverado. I spent the time in Surinam driving a diesel Hilux and I was in love. I have yearned for one here in the States forever, but reality is other then the fanboys, myself included, no one would likely buy a compact diesel

If you don’t have to hang out the door when backing to see where you are going it is not a Countach...plus needs more wing(s).

Take your star...

All out of my college peers had either a Cutlass, Monte Carlo or Regal from the early 80s generation. Most were 3.8 V6 but some had V8 (307 in the Olds, 305 in the Monte). Regal I think could only be had with V6 or Turbo V6 if I recall correctly. The appeal was that for the era these were comfortable, reliable and

Bezos and his money can build it on his own. If when it is done it is the better product, or on the off chance Space X cannot get their version done, then Blue Origin should be reimbursed and that design could be used. That would be redundancy and commitment to the project. I am getting tired of politicians talking

Agreed about Bottas...I was watching the pit stop and I couldn’t believe his lousy luck. After the stop passed the 2 sec, then the 5 sec and then the 10 sec mark, seeing them struggle with the ‘gun’ I was getting frustrated for him, I cannot imagine what he was thinking.

Honestly though, it is kind of backward looking considering what the truck is trying to do in that segment marketplace. Maybe market research showed if they keep some familiar things - grille-like front end, fender mounted antenna - it would help convert ICE pick-up owners.
