I love Halloween, but I’m really starting to think my favorite comedian wasn’t joking when he said that Halloween is basically Racist Christmas.

I’ve learned you can’t argue with those people. I remember an extremely tense conversation over dinner with my ex’s family, when his uncle (normally a very soft-spoken, friendly guy) went on a verbal crusade about why black people shouldn’t be able to use the N-word (obviously since white guys like him cannot).

I currently have multiple white friends ranting on Facebook about why black people ‘get away with,’ dressing up in “whiteface” and Day of the Dead costumes at Halloween.
