It's the PS3 version, just upscaled to a higher resolution.

First of all, sorry for the late response.

You make a good point, and physical medium is definitely still the first hand market, but with the way the digital market is permeating it's inevitable that some day the digital market will be the strongest of them all.

Lol absolutely.

I could be completely wrong, but I thought MS' "family sharing" plan was going to be executed so that your friend would be allowed to play the game that was purchased via disc ONLY if that disc was present inside the console. The game would also be required to be downloaded to the console because that was MS' initial

I think the vehicle combat genre needs some new blood brought in to reinvigorate the genre. Someone to modernize and re-imagine what can be done in a driver/shooter game.

I think DriveClub is looking better visually than Forza 5, if that's in-game footage they're showing in their trailer.

Depends on how well they code it, I suppose.

Agreed.

I think you're in the minority, pal.

There are certain boss battles in GOW that require the proper QTE input to avoid taking damage.

I will be purchasing a PS4 because the multi-gen games you named will perform a lot better on the console, and because I trust Sony first-party devs to deliver this coming generation, as they did last.

I think the point he's trying to make is that more resource-intensive games have a harder time running at higher resolutions, such as the MBPr's high resolution screen. Inferior GPU + high resolution =/= high quality gaming.

If you're expecting that every game will eventually be glitch free in the future, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Especially games, like The Last of Us, that push the boundaries of the hardware it performs on will inevitably suffer from minor issues here and there.

I didn't experience any of these glitches during my 2 play throughs. I doubt many reviewers did either.

I hope you enjoy your play through if you get the chance!

This portion of the game, which was included in the demo for TLoU, is one of the first encounters with the infected. Once you start running across packs of clickers, hand to hand combat doesn't work anymore. If you try attacking clickers with bare hands, you're a goner.

Well, I'm glad you gave it a shot. Sorry it wasn't your style of game.

So you did play the game then?

You'd be playing the game wrong if you played it as a cover shooter. TLoU is a stealth game that greatly underpowers the player with limited ammo, thus requiring the player to improvise with his/her resources.
