Looks fantastic and very true to the source material. The only problem I have is with the make up. Why does a cosplayer need make up when they are trying to recreate a gritty post-apocalyptic setting like this?

Not much probably. PS4 games have availability to OpenGL, which is an open graphics API. The OpenGL code will port over to any platform, Windows included.

Nope, he actually got fit when he lived in the apartment.

Definitely overpriced when you consider the next iterations of Xbox One and PS4 consoles will support 4K Blu Ray, and they will likely both run around the $300 mark, depending on the internal storage.

Agreed. I am not usually a big fan of smaller indie games like this, but this trailer with the excellent music and art direction makes me super eager to play this.

Fixed it for you.

Can’t find a link to the article, but I read elsewhere that although they are using the same underlying tech that powered the Uncharted games and TLoU, it’s been modified, if not heavily modified. The reason being, iirc, that it was a nightmare for them to write their current engine from the ground up when ND was

But it’s not long stretch to make them look as they do.

So far I'm seeing very high visual quality, imo. I know the Endor map isn't playable in the beta, but I expect it to look georgeous once the full game is released.

This may be true for some people. If someone is able to, say, stream 4k content at 12.5 Mbps rather than 25 Mbps over their internet connection, they may be more likely to purchase a 4k TV, once that content is regularly available (especially people who only have access to ADSL service where they live).

Spotify seems to have around the same size library as Google, yet they don't support a locker feature like Google does. So Google definitely has something on Spotify.

The difference at this point is Apple charges you for iTunes Match whereas Google lets you upload your own music for free.

Thanks for the info. I saw one of the ND employees tweet a link to the feed and mentioned it being in 1080p and 30hz but I wasn't sure if that meant it was running in that state or if he just meant that the video link was provided at that quality.

I love how brutally honest Jaffe is. He makes some cool ass gritty games, too. Twisted Metal is one of my faves on the original PS.

I think I'd rather have increased detail and immersion in games going forward rather than a large leap in graphics. And Naughty Dog has been one of the kings of character animation in modern games, so there's no surprise that what's seen in this gameplay trailer is so impressive.

Looks pretty good to me. Naughty Dog puts some amazing detail into their games, and I imagine it was hard to soak all of that detail up in a compressed video stream.

It worked for me with the Rest Mode issue, but the PS4's power button is a little finicky so it's hard to tell if you're actually holding down on the power button the right way.

When it happened to me after the update the yellow rest light was still on but it was pulsating like you said.

I'd recommend not using the Rest feature until they patch it. I hadn't experienced issues until last night and I think it's happening when the ps4 is updating game files while in that state.
