I wish they still made one. As a guy who cut his teeth on many small <2500 lb cars in need of a family vehicle the lack of options make me sad.
The current one also makes 270 pound-feet of torque. Torque is what matters in these bigger vehicles.
Mazda5 came in under 3300 lbs.
I tell you what, if Mazda launches a production rotary vehicle before they launch a speed 3 I owe you a dollar. Obviously if the first production rotary vehicle is a speed 3 then that cancels it out.
nm, dup comment.
Any word on weight?
MAZDASPEED3: Coming soon.
Will we ever see the Pulsar return to American shores? Possibly including the popup headlights, t-tops, and hatchback?
He is very good and I have told him that he reminds of Ezra Dyer which he said he took as a great compliment as he loves his work too.
Yes, but it’s not in the U.S. and it is not a liftback with an optional hatch with T-tops and popup head lights.
I like Doug very very much and consider him one of my favorite auto scribes of all time. That said he is no Peter Egan. Nobody is Peter Egan except for Peter Egan.
Glad to hear it. I know when Ride Apart was just a show on drive the first one got a couple episodes covering it. Also, any chance of lanesplitter getting a show?
I have watched the prestige and I love it but this is something that bothered me about this back in the 90’s. It just seems like the only way to do this is to create a copy.
Another interesting one I just thought of was that short film that was featured on sploid recently.
