There was one of a guy in a suit and a woman in a dress and paparazzi taking a ton of pictures of them. All of these have a thing with flashing images. Maybe they were brainwashing us?

Agreed. I loved driving my beat up Aspire in dense city traffic. Any time someone would try to steal my safe following distance gap I’d rev my engine and shoot up real quick. Nobody in a brand new car wants to mess with a guy in a beater with no cares.

I’ve seen the metro mid engine builds but I don’t know if anyone has done an Aspire yet. They’re actually a lot of fun to drive if you beat on them, but really anything in this segment is.

I always thought it was one of the worst cars to try and convey a fancy image. Do you remember those awful commercials?

Yeah if you’re talking 80’s or 90’s Rivieras they are turds but 60’s was all class.

I owned one and we always joked that it aspired to be a real car. My wife called it the sweater because she said you didn’t drive it, you wore it.

What’s wrong with Riviera?

Something like this deserves better than alphabet soup. Something like Pterodactyl Stomper.

I think that was the basis of the qotd so that disqualifies it.

These are RWD not AWD. Only makes them crazier.

Man, your dad was on it with that line.

That, and I think it doesn’t help that most of their work is classified.

Yeah, he’d basically say we were in a boat, in the water, and that’s about it.

Submariners are a secretive bunch. My dad was a submariner for 10+ years and all the stories I’ve heard consist of trouble he got into on shore leave. He won’t tell me anything else and just says there were tense moments.

When they first announced the 818 I was sure it would be my first kit car. And then Bauer unveiled the Catfish.

I’ve been waiting for someone to post this one.

This is my current favorite and the fact you can buy a naked one for exocet money and buy the body when you have more money only makes it more appealing.

Some of these have put down some very serious numbers.
